This year, NCT’s Doyoung has proven his many capabilities. With so many talents, it can be hard to keep track of them all, but his sense of style is one that cannot be overlooked. After all, there’s a reason the star is continuously chosen for magazine covers and editorials. On the stage, his daring fashion captures the audience while his classic-chic aesthetic wins fans’ hearts off stage.
Conceptual Range
Doyoung debuted with a youthful look. For “The 7th Sense,” a simple graphic t-shirt was elevated with high-waisted, wide-legged pants. In true NCT fashion, the fit had plenty of accessories, drawing the eyes to the details of the smooth and innovative choreography.
As NCT 127 grew and completed more stages, their style only became more unique. After the “Cherry Bomb” era, the group continued to be associated with the symbolic red print.
In contrast, the group showcased more preppy looks for “Touch.” However, the boys stayed true to their style by keeping it colorful and well accessorized.
During “Regular,” NCT 127 went with a more mature look to match the luxury concept of the track. In this music video alone, Doyoung showed a variety of looks, showing off his versatility. In contrast to his debut look, he made a graphic t-shirt sleeker with a darker turtle-neck. His other outfits included a plaid blazer in one scene and an abstract blouse in another. For the performance cuts, his all-black looks were accentuated with metallic details and a flowing scarf.
With their latest release, “Save,” their style culminated based on these previous looks. While the all-white ensembles were timeless, their alternate outfits reflected today’s current trends. Doyoung wore a moon-printed jacket over a graphic t-shirt for a layered look.

However, his versatility isn’t limited to the stage. He features various styles and brands on his Instagram. In one shot, he has a casual-chic look with the iconic Ami de Coeur sweater, and in the next, he has an edgier appearance complete with a leather Prada.

There are a few style tips to be learned from Doyoung. To start with the basics, it’s great to have some staples in your wardrobe. A denim jacket or a cozy sweater can be used for various outfits. For example, they can be worn on their own or layered with a graphic t-shirt. Jeans are also a good investment whether a wide-leg denim or a sleek, dark pant. Find a happy medium between classic chic and edgy with a leather jacket. Of course, accessories are a must too. They can be as simple as a coin necklace or a statement with a designer bag. But most of all, confidence is key. Holding your head high and owning your look can make you shine with any look.
