Jisoo attended Dior Beauty’s “Miss Dior: Stories of a Miss” exhibition on June 12. Held at the Roppongi Museum in Tokyo, the event was an homage to Christian Dior’s first fragrance by the same title. Jisoo, a regular presence at Dior’s international events, channeled her inner lucky girl in a sophisticated gown by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Lucky Girl Jisoo
Stepping out in Japan, Jisoo wore a dress first seen at Dior’s 2023 high jewelry collection show. Aptly titled “Les Jardins de la Couture,” the show used abundant natural motifs to highlight the charm of Victoire de Castellane’s work. Jisoo’s dress was sprinkled with emerald green clovers, commonly considered a symbol of luck in their rare four-leaf form. Constructed in a champagne fabric, the dress matched Jisoo’s simple heels and the event’s color palette.
The term “Lucky Girl Syndrome” spontaneously gained traction on TikTok as a specific genre of affirmations. As the name implies, “Lucky Girl” practices involve using self-confident and romanticized affirmations in the hopes of materializing new opportunities and success. Jisoo, constantly pushing the limits of her potential and showcasing her talent, epitomizes what a “Lucky Girl” strives to become.
Just over the last year, the Dior muse has come off a world tour with BLACKPINK, secured multiple acting roles and founded her own entertainment company. Jisoo has also remained at the top of the fashion industry with her association with several brands including Alo Yoga, Dior, and Cartier — in fact, Jisoo is, as per Launchmetrics, one of the top Media Impact Value-earning celebrities for all fashion and sportswear segments.
Dior’s relationship with Jisoo remains as fruitful and exciting as ever, with each season inviting new opportunities to demonstrate their close bond. In addition to attending this week’s “Stories of a Miss” event, Jisoo also modeled for Dior Beauty’s newest campaign for the pink houndstooth print limited edition of Le Baume.
“Stories of a Miss”
The “Stories of a Miss” exhibition celebrates Dior’s signature Miss Dior fragrance. Dior Perfume Creation Director Francis Kurkdjian designed an immersive experience that enveloped attendees in Miss Dior’s symbolic floral scent. Additionally, the exhibition includes a floral garden space decorated with embroidery by French visual artist Eva Jospin, drawings and watercolor paintings by René Guaud and Mats Gustafsson and artwork by Yukimasa Ida, Sabine Marcellis, Haruka Kojin and Egami Koshi.
International and local celebrities alike flocked to the Roppongi Museum for the event — notable attendees included Natalie Portman, Jun-ho Lee and Aya Omasa, among other recognizable names.
