Following global iterations in Paris, London and Cannes, Seoul welcomed Prada’s series of musical live events, “The Sound of Prada.” The invite-only event touched down in South Korea on October 24. The hottest Asian entertainment powerhouses including ENHYPEN, Jaehyun, Taemin, Kiss of Life, ZEROBASEONE, Kim Taeri, Win Metawin and Kentaro Sakaguchi were part of the star-studded guest list.
The Sound of Prada
After previous stops in Sacré Coeur (Paris), the Tate Modern (London) and Le Speakeasy (Cannes), Prada took “The Sound of Prada” to Candy Seongsu in Seoul, South Korea. The event, which celebrates music culture worldwide, explored Prada’s connection to the bustling Asian city and cradle of K-pop.
For this event, Grammy award-winning artist Anderson .Paak contributed as a creative director. The singer and DJ enlisted local talent to showcase the booming music scene in Seoul. Korean artist DJ Spray, Tokyo-based DJ MAYURASHKA, singer Crush and Anderson .Paak himself provided entertainment for the night, delivering dynamic music sets.
Stellar Guest List
Further reflecting the event’s purpose — celebrating cultural fusion and Prada’s “innate connections with culture and society” — the guest list featured music heavy-hitters including K-pop icon Taemin and Prada ambassadors ENHYPHEN and Jaehyun. Rising K-pop stars Natty and Julie of Kiss of Life and Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin and Matthew — members of boy group ZEROBASEONE — also graced the trendy venue.
In addition to music artists, screen figures and other Prada ambassadors hailing from Asia were in attendance. Thai superstar Win Metawin and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, both fixtures at all Prada events worldwide, shared the spotlight with local talent such as actors Kim Taeri and Kwon Eunbi.
