Inspired by several eras of fashion — ranging from the 1950s to the 1990s — Michael Kors’ newest collection taps into timeless simplicity, Italian craftsmanship and earthy tones. Black and white pieces dominated the runway, broken up by light blue, muted green and various brown hues. The collection was straightforward and welcoming, offering options that range from everyday-appropriate ensembles to event-specific wear. To elevate classic silhouettes, designer Michael Kors experimented with textures. Sweetheart and V-necklines contrasted against crushed satins, floral embroidery and flowing raffia fringe.
The brand also surprised showgoers and online crowds when Dahyun made a runway cameo as part of the show. The idol wore a monochromatic ensemble, comprising a rich brown mini dress, purse and low open-toed heels. Seated in the audience were Barbara Palvin, Kerry Washington and Mindy Kaling, among many others.
