Some tours sell out moments after they’re announced. Others go viral because the performance markets itself. Faouzia’s 2026 World Tour did both. With powerhouse vocals and seemingly expert writing skills, she left New Yorkers in a daze at Warsaw in Brooklyn on August 17.

MORE THAN JUST A CONCERT
Faouzia’s journey as an artist is a truly inspiring one; she has made huge sacrifices in both her personal and professional life to keep going. Hearing these tracks live really emphasizes how far she has come as an artist.
The doors had been open for only 20 minutes, but fans of the Canadian-Moroccan singer-songwriter had already filled the venue. A dim purple light illuminated the smoggy stage as serene music played beneath the chatter of excited attendees. With every minute, fans leaned further over the barricade, anticipating her appearance. At 8:00 PM, Faouzia peeked out at the crowd in a long brown coat, mouthed “one second!” and ran backstage to reveal her stage outfit. Then she frolicked out and started her first track, “LOST MY MIND IN PARIS.”
ENERGY LEVELS
You can always tell an artist loves what they do by the energy they throw out on stage. As Faouzia performed “DON’T EVER LEAVE ME” and “SWEET FEVER,” the exchange of energy between her and the fans proved nothing less than her love for performing and the crowd’s love for her music. She danced, spun, and belted clean vocals with a big smile the entire time, as if the stage were her second home.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES
As previously mentioned, this is the kind of show that markets itself. Track 6, “TOUS CES MOTS,” is one of many examples how. She repeated a refrain that translates to “all these words, all these words, in vain.” As the vocals and instrumentals built into a gradual crescendo, you almost physically felt the hurt in your chest. This was the kind of song people stopped singing along to and froze for, just to get a good listen. Her voice echoed through the venue, steady and resonant. It’s no wonder people rushed to buy tickets after seeing clips of this performance on social media.
Singing and songwriting aren’t the end of Faouzia’s talents. After “TOUS CES MOTS,” she sat at the piano and accompanied herself on “PORCELAIN” and “Für Elise” — the two tracks that came before her viral song “UNETHICAL,” which she performed toward the end of the show.
HIGH NOTES
Many fans discovered Faouzia through “UNETHICAL,” the track that was captivating enough to send them digging through the rest of her discography. Fans repeatedly discuss the haunting, yet beautiful melody and lyricism that paints a picture of saying goodbye to an addictive and toxic romance that you once poured your heart and soul into.
In the final quarter of the show, Faouzia sang the throwback tracks “Tears of Gold” and “Minefields.” For dedicated fans who have followed her since the beginning, these performances were incredibly special and heartwarming. During this segment, she even invited a fan to sing her throwback song “Thick and Thin.”
VERDICT
For long-time fans, the concert was a dream come true. For newer fans, there’s a good chance they’ll be sticking around.
The show concluded with “PEACE AND VIOLENCE,” another track that shows off FAOUZIA’s vocal capabilities. She blended with her backing vocals like butter, flipping between notes at the top of her register and belts that undoubtedly made observers think, “How is she not in a stadium yet?”
As the show came to an end, there were no disappointed faces — not because no one wanted more, but because the show satisfied every desire and expectation. Faouzia’s captivating energy, resonant siren-like vocals, playful yet serious stage presence, and cheerful personality were all enough to keep New York waiting for her return.
