A Drama-Filled Plot

The upcoming romantic drama focuses on our lead Ateş, played by Kerem Bürsin, who as a child is sent to live abroad alone following the death of his mother. Due to his lonely childhood, Ateş grows into a prickly millionaire who doesn’t trust others easily. His extravagant life in Majorca, Spain is put on pause, however, with the untimely death of his father. Upon his return to Istanbul, Turkey for the will reading, Ateş learns he’s become the guardian of his three half siblings from his father’s second wife.

Thrown for a loop, he’s also intrigued by his first meeting with the fiery Leyla, a stubborn con woman who grew up on her own and who is played by rising star Hafsanur Sancaktutan. Despite their differing personalities, the two can’t help the magnetic pull that exists between them.

First Looks of Burning Curiosities

The first look trailer promises an enticing story ripe with tension and banter as our two leads come face-to-face. Leyla, who seems to be running away from someone at the beginning of the trailer, escapes to the elevator already occupied by Ateş. Although annoyed with one another’s demeanor, the two both appear impressed with the others’ quick-witted responses. Their intense locked gazes are broken with the arrival of the local authorities presumably after Leyla.

In released teaser photos, we see Leyla use the newly acquainted handsome stranger to her advantage to get out of this sticky situation. Rhythmic tango music underscores the two actors’ simmering playful chemistry. Although the audience is given a brief glimpse of the show’s plot, the little reveal cleverly encompasses the tone of what’s to come.

Even though filming and production are still wrapping up, the July premiere already has many on the edges of their seats, ready for the show’s release. Viewers can tune in to the Kanal D Drama app or channel on July 6, 2023 at 20:00 UTC+3 to watch the first episode.
