Chicago’s hottest summer festival returns to bring together the most anticipated acts from around the world. The four-day Lollapalooza festival spans from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, with over 170 artists set to hit the stage.
Among them is an all-star lineup of Asian artists, boasting a variety of genres for fans around the globe. From headliners like JENNIE to P-pop royalty SB19, fans can tap into pop, alt-rock, rap, and more at this year’s festival. Here are the Asian acts you won’t want to miss this year at Lollapalooza!
I-DLE
Ready to feel the summer heat of Chicago, I-DLE are back in the United States for their anticipated Lollapalooza debut. Consisting of members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, the group is on the road to celebrate nearly a decade together. Since their debut in 2018 under the former name (G)I-DLE, the group has been one to watch. Their debut track, “LATATA,” earned them the Rookie of the Year award at the 2018 Asian Artist Awards. Gaining worldwide recognition with their hit “TOMBOY,” the group has been unstoppable ever since and has gone on to produce hits such as “Queencard,” “Good Thing,” and “Super Lady.”
Ahead of their anticipated performance this month, many fans can expect to hear songs from their recently released ninth mini-album, We Made. I-DLE certainly gave us another song for the summer with “Gimme Dat Love,” and it would be the perfect track for their Lollapalooza setlist. With a decorated six-year career and irrefutable star power, aespa continuously prove that they are nothing short of a “Supernova.” Aespa are ready to make their highly anticipated Lollapalooza debut following the success of their second full-length album, LEMONADE. Packed with sonic statements like “WDA (Whole Different Animal) (Feat. G-DRAGON)” and “Switchblade (feat. Ty Dolla $ign),” fans are curious to see how these confident anthems translate onto one of music’s largest stages.
Lollapalooza won’t be the first time the K-pop quartet will showcase their discography to festivalgoers, as they’ve graced stages like Coachella, Governors Ball, and Outside Lands. SB19
SB19 are ready to make P-pop history yet again with their historic Lollapalooza debut. The quintet’s appearance makes them the first Filipino act to take the stage. This distinction is well deserved for the P-pop royalty after their recent record-breaking run. Wakas at Simula — the full-length album follow-up to their 2025 EP Simula at Wakas — brought forth major collaborations with music hard hitters JOLIN and BE:FIRST as well as culturally-conscious tracks like “VISA.” Since the virality of their 2023 hit “GENTO,” SB19 have been steadily representing P-pop on the international front. As the sole P-pop act in lineups at events like ACON in Taiwan and D.U.N.K in Japan, SB19 deliver Filipino excellence every single time. Audiences are all the more excited for SB19 to take on Lollapalooza as their passionate performances are a true testament to their artistry.

JENNIE
Just under two months after her Governor’s Ball debut as a headliner, BLACKPINK’s JENNIE will make her Lollapalooza debut — as a headliner again! It’s been nearly a decade since she first stepped into the music scene, and since then, she has taken the world by storm, whether it be as a fashion icon or a global pop star. JENNIE is no stranger to the festival stage, her first being alongside her fellow BLACKPINK members back in 2023 for Coachella as a co-headliner. She not only made history this year as the first K-pop soloist to headline the Governor’s Ball, but she also became the first K-pop soloist to headline two major European music festivals after performing at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival and Poland’s Open’er Festival.
At Lollapalooza, fans can expect a whirlwind of tracks with upbeat staples like “ExtraL” and “Mantra” off her debut album Ruby and her smooth recently released track “Less than a Lover.” And no JENNIE setlist would be complete without the iconic “like JENNIE.”

YOASOBI
Japanese band duo YOASOBI show how teamwork truly makes the dream work. Composed of vocalist Ikura and composer Ayase, YOASOBI return for their second Lollapalooza. The pair are known for their range of unique band compositions such as the bright melody of “Into the Night” and the sentimental “HEART BEAT.”
Though their sound evolves with each release, YOASOBI’s motto to “create music from novels,” has led them to contribute to anime soundtracks. From the dark track “Monster” for BEASTARS to electropop “Idol” from Oshi No Ko, the duo always showcase their strength in storytelling. Their new album THE BOOK for, released on June 26, builds anticipation for what new tracks they’ll be performing on the Lollapalooza stage. Ado
Ready to get your inner rocker on? Japanese artist and powerhouse vocalist Ado is here to make you scream. She began her singing career through vocaloid song covers and went on to draw attention for her explosive voice and aggressive lyrics. Ado’s debut single, “Usseewa,” is one example, as it discusses the frustration of societal expectations while entering adulthood. Though her rageful fry voice is her signature, Ado showcases her sharp rap skills in songs such as the EDM influenced “Show.”
Ado is well-versed in live performances, despite this summer being her Lollapalooza debut. This past May, Ado was a headliner for the inaugural Japanese music festival Zipangu. Ado brings energy to every stage she steps onto, even while obscuring her identity. With colorful light shows and animation sequences, Ado knows how to keep audiences hooked. Transitioning from the conclusion of her “Hibana World Tour” in 2025, Ado has released monthly singles in 2026. Her set is expected to include these new tracks, as well as fan-favorite anthems such as “Odo” and “Gira Gira.”

beabadoobee
Beabadoobee is no stranger to the Lollapalooza stage. The Filipino English singer-songwriter makes her triumphant return to the festival this year, ahead of her highly anticipated album Pylon. Her wistful indie and alternative rock sound has captivated listeners since 2017, when she debuted with the acoustic track “Coffee.” By 2019, NME listed beabadoobee on their “essential new artists” list alongside other big names like Billie Eilish. In the years since, beabadoobee has cemented herself as an industry powerhouse. Between contemplative love songs like “the perfect pair,” the indie-rock anthem “Apple Cider,” and the self-reflective “Beaches,” she has amassed nearly 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
The singer-songwriter gave fans a taste of Pylon with her latest track “Sun Has Set,” an angry indie-grunge anthem. Beabadoobee continues her long line of impressive musical collaborations with Pylon, which will feature Hayley Williams of Paramore, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates, as well as contributions from band members of Deftones, Pinegrove, and Title Fight. Beabadoobee’s Lollapalooza stage will be one of her first since she wrapped up her headlining tour in the Philippines in August 2025. CORTIS
Put your phones down and get ready to watch them go! Freshly debuted South Korean boy group Cortis are bringing their fresh summer beats to the T-Mobile Stage on Saturday, August 1. Debuting in 2025 with their single “GO,” members Keonho, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, James, and Martin have been shaking up the music scene with their creative music videos and experimental tracks.
Within barely a year since their debut, the group has already established itself as a rising name in K-pop. They continue to build momentum with their latest hit “REDRED,” two EPs, and several special performances around the world. Cortis quickly gained attention with tracks like “GO” and “FaSHioN,” blending hip-hop and pop into a sound that’s uniquely their own. Now, the group is ready to kick off the month of August with as much energy as possible.

Ecca Vandal
Experimental and alternative rock are front and center when Ecca Vandal takes the stage. The Sri Lankan Tamil and Australia-based artist has had a wild year, from making her debut performance at Coachella to opening for artists like Deftones and Limp Bizkit. Vandal continued her impressive year with the release of LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW in May 2026, her first full album since returning to the music world after four years away during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the project is filled to the brim with heavy guitar, explosive percussion, and Vandal’s gritty vocals, each track is a raw portrait of her personal life. Tracks like “BLEED BUT NEVER DIE” offer addictive, head-banging beats that are perfect for the live stage, while fans can be sure to lose their voices to “CRUISING TO SELF SOOTHE” alongside Vandal. Her eclectic combination of rock, industrial, and punk sounds shows that her musical identity is one-of-a-kind.
