Beabadoobee – โSun Has Setโ
After the success of her 2024 third studio album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, beabadoobee is gearing up for a long-awaited return. โSun Has Setโ arrives as the first single from her upcoming album, Pylon, set to release on September 18. This single carries a noticeably darker and grungier sound compared to her previous album. โSun Has Setโ presents beabadoobee in full-on rockstar mode with a gritty vocal delivery, charged lyricism, and an intense band performance.
โSun Has Setโ represents the finality in a relationship when one arrives at their boiling point after putting up with too much. She delivers her ultimatum in the chorus: โThereโs so much we left unsaid / And so much that you donโt get / F*ck that, not worth thinkinโ about to me now / This sun has set.โ Audiences witness beabadoobeeโs confrontation in the cinematic first-person music video. Following her fit of rage, a lingering sadness remains as she finds herself alone.
Beabadoobee has quite a jam-packed schedule ahead of her. After wrapping up festival stops like Hinterland and Lollapalooza, she will be embarking on a world tour in support of Pylon. โThe Powerlines Tourโ features some of the largest venues she has played in her career including Madison Square Garden and The O2 โ showcasing her exponential growth from her last tour junket.
Rocco – โBreakโ
It may be the last Friday of the month, but Rocco just released the first single off his upcoming EP. The single, โBreak,โ continues the singerโs plotline that he began with his May release, โperfect song to slow dance to.โ While the track starts slow, it moves into rock as Rocco declares his emotions directly to the girl he loves.
Like his last single, this song also received additional pre-release footage that expands the eraโs plotline. After Rocco drives home Lucy, the girl he has a hopeless crush on, the camera pans to Lucy in her room listening to what appears to be โBreak.โ Teasing the song and emphasizing the crux, they both sing, โI still wouldnโt have it any other way.โ With listeners and viewers being taken inside the mind of Roccoโs character, it has become more evident with every track and mini-film that he wonโt be giving up on his love for Lucy any time soon.
Rocco has promised more episodes of him yearning for Lucy are on the way, though he has not dropped a release date for his upcoming EP yet, so make sure to be on the lookout.
MARQUISE – โdontneedyouanymoreโ
Another one, thank you โ one more graduate of Dream Academy is gearing up for popstardom. Although not all girls from the survival show made their debut as KATSEYE (or SAINT SATINE), they have shown one by one that theyโre not letting their talents go to waste. After ADรLA and KARLEE GIRL, itโs now Thai ex-trainee MARQUISEโs turn to step into the spotlight with her debut single, โdontneedyouanymore,โ released under YUPP! Entertainment.
ร la ADรLAโs debut โSuperscar,โ MARQUISEโs solo career arrives with a bang and a swing at the music industry. Donโt let her sweet vocals or the glossy late 2000s, early 2010s R&B-inflected pop production fool you. Her lyrics are laced with a poisonous dig at the way artists are subject to puppeteering by their labels, pain and trauma as young people, and a target for just about anything โ public scrutiny, corporate pressure, all the likes. Sheโs asserting her boundaries, finding ways to express her raw emotions and do things her own way.
Regina Song – โOpening Lineโ
Imagine falling in love at first sight and then falling head over heels. Look no further because Regina Songโs new release, โOpening Line,โ is a sweet, mellow narration of that rom-com fantasy. As the lead track of her sophomore album, everland, the song captures the intoxicating rush of an instant connection that quickly blooms into an all-consuming love affair.
The Singaporean singer-songwriter recounts stolen glances and thoughtful gestures sheโs spent way too much time overanalyzing on top of a soft, dreamy instrumental. Even as rumours float around the pair, her heart has already made up its mind on who she wants to spend her time with, despite claiming that sheโs โjust friendsโ with them. Itโs a sweet, butterfly-filled love song that perfectly bottles the giddy excitement of falling for someoneโs โopening line.โ
ATEEZ – โBADโ

The first week of summer means Ateez is back to bring the heat a couple of notches up with their latest release โBAD.โ Continuing their Golden Hour series, part five brings a mix of Latin and hip-hop influences together, with five new tracks, including โMAMACITA,โ โTOXIN,โโFallin,โ and โbody.โ Their title track brings an addictive hook and a mix of funk elements into a repeating โitโs so bad, bad, bad, bad, badโ with members even singing in Spanish and painting a story of a femme fatale taking over their minds.ย
The music video continues with an entrancing storyline and features a special appearance from none other than actress Chase Infiniti, who plays the character of “Sopro” . Competing for the attention of the beautiful lady, the eight members move through different scenes, showcasing their catchy choreography and jealousy over who gets to spend time with her. Concluding with an unforgettable dance-off between Infiniti and ATEEZ, the music video is a fun and energetic summer visual, a summer staple for those who are fans of the band and those who like a good dancing track.
Darvishi – โJeloโ

Persian pop sensation Darvishi is back to reclaim her truest potential and say goodbye to negative energy with “Jelo.” A track perfect for a night out with friends, “Jelo” blends dance-pop with Persian-inspired influences. Sung in both English and Farsi, the lyrics tell the story of never giving up, following your calling, and refusing to doubt yourself. In a press release, Darvishi shared, “I wrote ‘Jelo’ during a time when I was really questioning whether I wanted to keep pursuing music. I wanted to write something fun, empowering, and impossible not to dance to.”
Set to release on July 1, the music video has already been teased through snippets shared across Darvishi’s social media. She has even teamed up with a local cafรฉ to promote the single and connect with her fanbase. A song made for our summer playlists, “Jelo,โ proves that the “Persian Pop Princess” is only getting started, with even more music on the horizon.
Midnight Generation – โRunawaysโ

Mexican indie-electro band Midnight Generation is bringing futuristic pop with their latest release, “Runaways.” Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, the band is setting the tone for the future of Mexican music. “Runaways” brings shimmering synths, rubbery bass, and a futuristic sound together. The track almost serves as an ode to their growth and loving fans. In a press release, the band said, “It’s a love letter to the road and everyone losing their mind on it alongside us.”
The group has been active since 2015 and continues to prove its influence across the globe. Formed with members Fernando Mares, Luis Carlos Valderrama, Carlos Amaya, and Samuel Marquez, the band has performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and Outside Lands, and is currently on the road for its international world tour in 2026. If you are looking for a good funky tune and a good live show, you might want to catch their next tour stop.
Alan vuong – โHEAVEN SENTโ

After four years of workshopping and refining, alan vuong dropped his cinematic EP, HEAVEN SENT ME. The project offers a kaleidoscopic blend of genres intertwined by alan vuongโs honest storytelling and perspectives on love. From nostalgic indie rock instrumentals to euphoric R&B melodies, HEAVEN SENT ME proves why alan vuong has been on the come up.ย
โIโve been working on HEAVEN SENT ME since 2022 and it was actually meant for something different that I was working on, but I enjoyed working on it so much that I wanted to release these new sounds as โalan vuong,โโ alan vuong revealed in a press release. โI felt as if in my heart, I wanted to do more and wanted to keep seeing what else I can do as an individual.โ
The first track of nine, โHEAVEN SENT,โ sets the tone for the EP as the seemingly uptempo indie rock beat defies alan vuongโs melancholic vocal delivery and message. โHEAVEN SENTโ conveys the frustration behind yearning for someone who doesnโt see whatโs in front of them. alan vuong sings in the sentimental chorus: โSomebody told you that Iโm outside waiting for you / I can see you from the outside looking for me / If you wanna catch me outside, Iโm ready for you / But you only want whatโs outside of me.โ As the songโs closing line, he name-drops the projectโs title, โCause heaven sent meโ โ leaving an impactful introduction to the projectโs overarching themes.
YOASOBI – โOrionโ

Consisting of composer Ayase and vocalist ikura, YOASOBI are starting their summer on a high note with the release of the final installment of their THE BOOK series, THE BOOK for,. THE BOOK series has been a continuous installment of albums that began in 2021 with their first album of the same name. Since then, they have grown their story and are now completing it, but this is not the end. They have added a comma at the end of the title to reassure listeners that their story will continue.
THE BOOK for, has also received an Overwatch Edition that stems from their collaboration with Overwatch. A short story from the game was a key inspiration for the albumโs title track โOrion.โ With energy, technological soundscapes, and funky beats that encourage dancing, โOrionโ is a signature YOASOBI track. Beginning June 30, players will be seeing elements of YOASOBI in the game with cosmetics and rewards.
If playing Overwatch and listening to the duo isnโt scratching your YOASOBI itch, they will also be touring North America this summer for their highly anticipated Never Ending Stories tour. Be sure to grab tickets while you can!
