Snoh Aalegra – “I Love You”
Swedish-Persian singer-songwriter Snoh Aalegra dropped another soulful tune in anticipation of her upcoming album Legendary Love on November 13. As the album’s name suggests, each track she’s unveiled so far reveals a different phase of love. Her newest single, “I Love You,” is a straightforward ode to that special someone in your life. The track is filled with decadent synths and a nostalgic groove reminiscent of the love songs of yesteryear. Snoh Aalegra’s silky vocals are the cherry on top as they feel authentic to the era she sonically emulates. Her heartfelt lyricism reads like wedding vows: “I’m blessed beyond all measure / Some would call it fate / So divine, I never knew / Hear me when I say / I love you.”
From its sound to its presentation in the retro-inspired music video, “I Love You” has brought up comparisons to greats like Prince, Michael Jackson, Sade, and Selena. The music video depicts Snoh Aalegra performing the track on television, with two young girls mimicking her movements in awe. The joy she spreads beyond the screen proves how love and music have the ability to transcend boundaries.
NMIXX – “Birthday Wish”

There’s always something cinematic about the way NMIXX approach their songs. Lush dance-pop production tinged with experimentation is paired with acrobatic vocals that go from hushed, rounded low notes to explosive high belts. Together, they create a playful dynamic that evokes the kind of music that soundtracks the big scene of a film. “Birthday Wish” follows this same formula, albeit with a slight twist. As the opener to Strange Muse, this track unfurls with an epic orchestral grandeur, matching the EP’s overarching theme of Greek mythology and muses.
Pay attention to the lyrics and you’ll realize it tells an equally dramatic story. It paints the serendipitous moment two people have their destined first encounter, symbolized as a birthday. Their hearts collide, and, as NMIXX sing in the bridge, “You’ll have the best of me.” Even as the two worlds change, “I’ll make an endless wish for you.” It’s poetic, rich, and a little bit melodramatic — everything you’d expect from the JYP sextet.
Dominic Fike – “Pangea”

Dominic Fike has never been shy to get candid about his bad habits. “I really want to move with intention,” he told PEOPLE in a 2023 exclusive interview, speaking on quitting cigarettes, sex, drugs, and alcohol to focus on the “Don’t Stare At The Sun Tour.” That commitment has carried on until three years later; Fike lives to tell the tale through his third album, How To Quit Smoking (out Oct. 30).
Billed as a living album — written and recorded as one would a raw documentary — the Floridian completed the album during his “Comedy Tragedy Parody Tour.” The third single, “Pangea,” captures that essence through its decidedly bedroom pop sound. It opens with nothing more than Fike’s plushy vocals over acoustic guitars, before plunging into a laidback alternative production that feels relaxed and easy. The lyrics come together with clever wordplay, telling the story of falling back to old alcoholic and sexual habits. After all, champagne and Dom Perignon are cheap, AA is trite, and you’ll never know if the Pandora box in his hands is an expensive watch or a can of troublesome worms.
Zack Tabudlo – “Isang Tulad Mo”
The Philippines has produced some of the greatest loverboys in music, and Zack Tabudlo is a leading example. He acknowledged on social media that it’s been over half a year since his last single, “Tunay,” but he decided to share “a little piece of [his] heart” in this new single. “Isang Tulad Mo” — which translates to “someone like you” — is dedicated to “the love of [his] life.”
Tabudlo describes the song as a “modern day harana,” in reference to the old Filipino tradition of courting someone through song. His reference is spot on as this acoustic jam is oozing with love and sincerity written from the heart. Tabudlo doesn’t shy away from details, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the fullest — even for the small things. “Isang Tulad Mo” is the perfect accompaniment to warm listeners’ hearts and souls as we head into the chillier months.
GIRLSET, Kylie Cantrall – “Glown Up”

GIRLSET are extending their collaborative relationship with Kylie Cantrall. After the JYP Entertainment-backed quartet joined the Disney starlet on the California stops of her “The Valley Girl Problems Tour,” they dropped their surprise single, “Glown Up” They debuted the track on stage at the Los Angeles date on October 22.
The single invites GIRLSET into the world of Cantrall’s sophomore album, Valley Girl Problems. The track may feel like a departure from the group’s previous outings, slipping into a more laidback, hip-hop-esque beat. But it still feels like a natural extension of their DNA: self-assured, uplifting, and brimming with attitude, giving this serviceable generic pop-R&B track its much-needed gusto. This song also gives GIRLSET the chance to continue flexing their versatility, building the anticipation of their upcoming debut album.

ATEEZ – “Drip”

You may have heard ATEEZ’s “Bad” playing everywhere this past summer, from bars to stadiums to perhaps the baseball game you went to this past month. But ATEEZ are ready to switch up the vibe and bring on the heat with their latest release of “Drip.”
The eight-member group — consisting of HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, and JONGHO — initially released an instrumental teaser for fans after their November comeback announcement. The pre-release single is a heavy trap-inspired track that highlights the members’ individual personalities and charisma. It also sends a message to those who hate on their rise to simply enjoy their swag.
The music video is another realm of the many universes ATEEZ have been part of. Visuals revolve around the members in cool outfits to different cinematic shots and dance moments in surrealist environments. With their anticipated EP, GOLDEN HOUR – Part 6, coming on November 13, the group is set for a world tour starting January 2027. With more dates yet to be added, we hope our cities are on the map!
Anderson .Paak & Cordae – “Airbender”

Anderson .Paak is no stranger to star-studded collaborations, and this time he’s teamed up with multi-platinum rapper Cordae for the joint album Heavy Is The Crown. A fully-realized collaborative album has been a long time coming for the two following the major success of their previous collaborations “RNP” and “Two Tens.” The 11-track project dives into lyrical hip-hop, West Coast funk, and neo-soul with plenty of old-school jazz and funk samples that give the album a timeless appeal.
“Airbender” has an under-two-minutes runtime, but it demonstrates how easily the two stars are able to ride a beat and concisely deliver punchlines. The track is produced by Hollywood Cole who boasts credits with JID, Wale, and Isaiah Rashad, just to name a few. “Airbender” is the famed producer’s first work with Anderson .Paak and second work with Cordae. This track picks up the pace from the album opener “58th Floor” and gets straight to the point with the chorus: “Man f*ck bein’ broke, all I wanna do is ball like the Airbender / Mixin’ up the dough, I’m the breadwinner.” The tracklisting into the subsequent track, “I’m On,” is seamless to the point where it flows like one song. These details make Heavy Is The Crown a listening experience that requires your full attention and appreciation.

LISA – “Tarantino”

“La Lalisa la diva” is back with her second solo album, PRESS PLAY. Coming out of the electro pop “Sawadika,” Lisa changes the tempo up with “Tarantino,” a slower paced and Western-inspired track. The single highlights Lisa’s vocals with guitar strings playing in the background. It also includes a steady drum set and is heavily inspired by the famed director Quentin Tarantino. Almost as if she was the main character out of her own Kill Bill movies, LISA enters this new era ready for all the action.
The music video is nothing more than cinematic, with LISA fighting those who stand in her way. The action-packed work follows LISA’s journey through a hotel to give a note to her favorite director. Following the release of the video LISA is set to perform at her sold-out residency in Las Vegas this upcoming November.
keshi – “MISS ME”

It’s been over a year since keshi’s last song, and the Vietnamese American multi-hyphenate finally graces the music scene with yet another haunting release. “MISS ME” is his experimentation with ambient sounds, trading lo-fi hip-hop beats for moody synths, atmospheric synths, and a low piano sound to match his floaty falsetto.
He gets vulnerable in the lyrics, which he co-penned with past collaborators boylife and Nick Velez, alongside Justin Tranter (who wrote for everyone, from Linkin Park to Cardi B to Chappell Roan and KATSEYE). Brimming with melancholy, keshi sings about being in emotional limbo post-breakup. “I want you to hurt when you’re not with me / Say you miss me,” he laments, tapping into that tug-of-war between vindictive spite and a longing that still lingers after the relationship has ended.
Other tracks in this week’s Sunday Spin playlist include “Looks Can Kill” by IVE, “Misunderstood Angel” by Rangga Jones, “BAD HABITS TONITE” by A2O MAY, and “DESERVE” by BABYMONSTER. Listen to everything mentioned and more, curated by Team EnVi only for you on Spotify.
