&TEAM are Lighting It Up with “We On Fire”
Global nonet, &TEAM, are ready to set the world ablaze after a meteoric year of global success. Released digitally on April 13, We on Fire is not only the name of their third EP and latest title track — it is also &TEAM’s mantra for 2026. The global boy group consisting of members EJ, FUMA, K, NICHOLAS, YUMA, JO, HARUA, TAKI, and MAKI, has been steadily stacking up accomplishments in both Japan and Korea since their 2022 debut.
Following up their most awarded year comes with pressure, but &TEAM are ready to reignite themselves to the fullest of their abilities. &TEAM revealed at their “3rd EP SHOWCASE We on Fire” that embedded within the six new tracks is a message of encouragement dedicated not only toward &TEAM themselves — but to the world at large.
“I think we were completely burnt out,” JO reflected in respect to their 2025 activities. “However, we’d like to fire up once again for 2026 and we’d like to run through this year […] We on Fire really resonates with our determination.”
A Much-Needed Refuel

Sub-leader FUMA expressed his gratitude toward their fanbase, LUNÉ, for a momentous 2025: “Fortunately, we were able to achieve many accomplishments with the support of LUNÉ. Based on our experiences in 2025, we discovered that there are a lot of places we’d like to reach out and we’d like to keep that as fuel to fire us up once again.”
We on Fire serves as a prequel to their upcoming second Asia tour “BLAZE THE WAY.” This EP was the push &TEAM needed prior to another milestone, and it conveys their burning passion for global expansion.
“I think for this album our goal is to bring it up a notch and take a step forward from our previous release, Back to Life,” MAKI explained. “Another big goal for us is to one day release some English songs that we can perform in front of our global fans.”
Can You Feel This Fire?
The EP’s title track, “We on Fire,” is emblematic of the tenacity that echoes throughout &TEAM’s discography. As the song title suggests, &TEAM are ready to ignite the world with their talent. The flames in this song contextualize their fiery determination alongside the warmth of camaraderie.
The lyrics capture the long road the group had to endure in order to become the global powerhouses they are today. The song features lines like “Those reckless, all-out past days / That’s how we overcame our fate” and “Same squad, same team, aiming for the summit.” However, it also fits into their long-standing lore as werewolves in the DARK MOON universe. The music video features all nine members showcasing their best moves in action-packed fight sequences set against a desert landscape. Together, &TEAM work hard to take down their masked enemies while protecting their beloved, who is only shown from behind.
“[…] I’m really into boxing. In the MV, we had the action scene, and it was really exciting for me to film that part,” NICHOLAS expressed, reflecting on his favorite part of the music video production.
What remains true in both reality and their fictional world-building is a brotherhood formed by resilience. Adversities don’t halt them, they fuel their journey and strengthen their bond.

K revealed at the showcase that “We on Fire” is about resolve and confidence, likening it to an anthem of self-affirmation: “It is a song to cheer for you so if you could feel that from the track, we would be grateful.”
“We on Fire” is doubled in energy with its maximalist production. The song blends the strong bass and 808s of trap music with the emotional intensity of rock. &TEAM’s passionate vocal delivery atop the strong beat creates a dynamic sonic contrast that feels future-forward. If you can’t get enough of the track, the EP features a Korean version.
Under Your Spell

Keeping the ante up, the EP’s second track, “Bewitched,” pushes the intensity even further. For fans of &TEAM’s earlier releases like “Under the Skin” and “Road Not Taken,” this dark, rock-leaning track feels like a natural evolution of their sound. The song begins with a minimal arrangement, gradually building tension before erupting into a full-band chorus where pent-up emotions are unleashed all at once. Leaning into themes of uncontrollable desire and instinct, the song captures the overwhelming feeling of being so “bewitched” by someone that you lose all sense of control. Like the album’s title track, “Bewitched” also comes with a Korean version.
“It’s a very fun song with an interesting composition,” YUMA answered when asked to share his thoughts on the track. “As the [song] builds and accelerates toward the end, you can feel how it captures the sensation of being drawn in, almost like you’re under a spell.”
The nine members opened their We on Fire showcase with “Bewitched,” taking the stage to the sound of blaring sirens. Once in position and as the music kicked in, they delivered a fiery performance true to &TEAM’s style. K and NICHOLAS led the opening, trading intro lines before passing the spotlight to YUMA. From there, the momentum only intensified as the rest of the members surged forward with sharp, synchronized choreography and controlled vocals.
One Goal

The third track, “HOTLINE,” is &TEAM’s unique spin on the rising hyperpop-influenced sound. The track opens up with an infectious saw lead melody, which builds into an energetic pop-rock tune. “HOTLINE” sits among “Dropkick” and “青嵐 (Aoarashi)” in their discography, with its bright sound and uplifting message of unity.
“The title comes from the term ‘hotline’ which is often used in soccer,” TAKI explained. “It is a song about strong bonds and confidence, and it expresses the bond between us as &TEAM members, as well as the bond between &TEAM and LUNÉ. So I think that this song can make you smile.”
The bond TAKI spoke of was evident throughout the entire showcase. The &TEAM members played a telepathy game to test their bond, creating some humorous moments between them. &TEAM and LUNÉ’s bond is one that transcended the screen, as both sides were highly receptive toward each other. &TEAM couldn’t stop singing praises for their fanbase’s continued support, and the cheers from LUNÉ decorated each of their performances.
Path of Flowers
Cherry blossoms, romance, and eternal promises all come together in the fourth and final track, “桜色Yell (Sakura-iro Yell).” The ballad was pre-released on March 13 and features &TEAM’s gentler side as well as their deep devotion to their fans.
Bird chirps and pianos are the first sounds to hit the ear as the song begins. From there, they blend seamlessly into the background as a flute signals &TEAM’s vocal entrance. The members declare their loyalty and determination to continue to “walk the flower path together.” Because “no matter how many seasons pass,” &TEAM are always connected with LUNÉ — a force that makes them stronger.
HARUA also expressed his gratitude towards LUNÉ in attendance at their showcase, and exchanged some warm words as a parting gift: “I hope this EP is going to give you some courage and hope when you make a new step.”
Going Forward, Full Throttle
We on Fire physically released on April 21. Not long after, &TEAM will hit the road for their second Asia tour, “BLAZE THE WAY,” kicking off on May 13 at K-Arena Yokohama.
Looking ahead at the tour, leader EJ shared at their showcase, “We have prepared greater, or even better stages than before, so I hope you can come to see our live performance. After every live performance, we always discuss how we can create new, more enjoyable experiences for LUNÉ. We’re constantly trying to improve, so please look forward to it!”

This bold new era will also add another accomplishment under their belt, as &TEAM are slated to perform in Los Angeles for the very first time at KCON LA on August 14. Their attendance and performance will further expand their global reach, bringing their high-energy stage presence to an even wider global audience.
“We are going to be working a lot harder for this comeback, and hopefully we get to do more global activities this year, so I hope everyone’s super excited because we’re really excited,” MAKI said in English. “Please keep rooting for us, we love you, thank you so much!”
As these nine wolves continue charging forward to their next destination, be sure to listen to We on Fire, now available on music streaming platforms, and get swept up in their blazing heat. Stay up to date with the pack by following &TEAM on Instagram, X, TikTok, and Weverse.
