STRAY KIDS – โ€œDo Itโ€

Coming off the heels of globetrotting via Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE> and the commercial hit album KARMA, Stray Kids are ready to venture down a new musical avenue. Their latest EP, DO IT, ushers in a new era for the boy group, the inaugural project that kicks off their SKZ IT TAPE series that finds their eureka moment within the philosophy of โ€œact boldly with confidence right now.โ€

Itโ€™s immediately seen through both versions of the title track, carrying Stray Kidsโ€™ high-octane, anthemic industrial hip-hop beats and rap flexibilities. โ€œHoliday,โ€ however, emerges as a highlight, taking a turn towards Euro-club sounds with a crystalline trance-pop rhythmic pulse, creating a sonic ambience that lives up to its title.

Meher – โ€œADORNEDโ€

Meher has been nonstop this year, and even now, she is releasing powerfully alluring lyricism and velvety vocals with her latest single โ€œADORNED.โ€ After dropping her debut EP, End of Winter, in March, she brought in listeners through further creations and performances in New York City. Before we slip back into the winter weather, โ€œADORNEDโ€ is giving fans more than enough warmth to get us through.ย

In true Meher fashion, โ€œADORNEDโ€ is classically smooth and confident, specifically through the chorus where she lays it all out directly. She sings, โ€œYou took my pearls, my gold, and my beads / Adorned them on your polyester sleeves / We are not the same / And we will never be.โ€ With no space for other assumptions, she finished the chorus with, โ€œThatโ€™s as much as you mean to me.โ€ With every word, she presents a line of empowerment and rightful independence, drawing a line as she knows her worth, and guides others to do the same.ย

SAILORR – โ€œLOCKED INโ€

Itโ€™s been six months since SAILORRโ€™s debut album, FROM FLORIDAโ€™S FINEST, but with one listen to โ€œLOCKED IN,โ€ it feels like no time has passed at all. Though this time around, we are seeing an all-new side to the singer, one with dreamier instrumentals whoโ€™s ready to give her heart away. After calming into her new persona of being a retired crashout, sheโ€™s setting down the bats and looking for her ring โ€“ or at least trying to.

Throughout the song, she looks for reassurance that this love is true, asking how she really knows theyโ€™re โ€œLOCKED IN.โ€ The song carries the signature SAILORR sound with a deep synth beat and snaps silkily added in every line. Over the instrumentals, she announces her ideal relationship, letting people stare without a care, with her partner carelessly proclaiming their love for her. SAILORRโ€™s looking for that special someone to spend the colder months with, and Team EnVi fully sees the vision. Prepare for more new SAILORR music next week as she prepares to release the deluxe version of her album, now titled FFF DELU/XXX.

no na – โ€œthe oneโ€

Indonesiaโ€™s rising girl group no na step into their soft-glow 80s era with โ€œthe one,โ€ a dreamy synth-pop track that blends breathy vocals with the soulful warmth thatโ€™s quickly becoming their signature. Built on retro production and hazy new-wave textures, the song feels a little like a whispered late-night confession, romantic and made for listeners who love a sprinkle of nostalgia in their pop.

Vocally, the members โ€” Christy, Esther, Baila, and Shaz โ€” glide through the track with stacked harmonies, layering feathery tones over funky drum packs with smooth R&B. The result is two minutes of pop perfection that feels global yet still rooted in the groupโ€™s Indonesian identity.

The music video doubles down on the fantasy, placing the quartet into a pastel-washed universe that channels a retro psychic hotline aesthetic. Itโ€™s the kind of attitude and visual flair youโ€™d expect from a modern take on something Vanity 6 wouldโ€™ve done, complete with sultry curtain choreography and a tongue-in-cheek 80s nod. As you watch, itโ€™s hard not to get pulled in by no naโ€™s charms. By the end you canโ€™t help but wonder, could you be the one?

Cynthia Erivo – โ€œNo Good Deedโ€

Image courtesy of Universal Music Group

The long-awaited follow-up to Wicked finally graced theatre screens last Friday, November 21. Released alongside is the soundtrack album that features Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and companyโ€™s take on numbers from the Broadway musicalโ€™s second act as well as two brand-new songs written by composer Stephen Schwartz. The filmโ€™s namesake โ€” Elphaba and Glindaโ€™s penultimate duet that has become a certified tearjerker โ€” holds so much musical weight, but itโ€™s the eleven oโ€™clock number โ€œNo Good Deedโ€ that remains a highlight, both within the context of the film and the soundtrack.
Erivoโ€™s vocal performance of this song delivered the gritty frustration Elphaba experiences at that point in the story which translates even without the visuals of the movie. This song marks her turning point that culminates in โ€œAlright, enough, so be it, so be it then / Let all Oz be agreed, Iโ€™m wicked through and through.โ€ Itโ€™s perfectly accentuated by the rapturous instrumentation that combines enchanting strings with distorted rock guitars.

BINI – โ€œSweet Toothโ€

FLAMES marks BINIโ€™s first album in three years, coming off the heels of their successful EP BINIverse. The eight-piece continues their streak of female-forward anthems dressed in splashy, vibrant colors for this seven-track record, a showcase that proves why they belong among girl group greats and why they fit right in with the list of performers for Coachella 2026.

One of the highlights is โ€œSweet Tooth,โ€ a more laidback approach to their signature bubblegum pop sound. In this song, intoxicating love is just like candy โ€” hence the title โ€” a helping of something so irresistibly addictive that the girls really canโ€™t self-regulate, so much so that they โ€œshould try something healthy but it never tastes so good.โ€

Shargeeya – โ€œShargeeya!โ€

Saudi artist Shargeeya reintroduces herself in her eponymous single, โ€œShargeeya!โ€ Itโ€™s an upbeat, proudly regional pop track thatโ€™s built on driving percussion and her full tone, soulful voice. The song channels the energy of a self-introduction thatโ€™s long overdue, as Shargeeya bold exclaims her name and what it means to her.

Lyrically, she folds her own story into the track. Telling herself that sheโ€™s in the right spot at the right time, โ€œfalling into harmony / this is your legacy.โ€ Her stage name which she picked up in a dance class meaning โ€œthe girl from the Eastโ€ becomes a rallying cry. Lines like โ€œWeโ€™re together strong as one, the rest has just begunโ€ push the message even further, turning the track into a moment of manifestation and momentum.

IDID – โ€œPUSH BACKโ€

IDID, STARSHIP Entertainmentโ€™s newest boygroup, is back only two months after their debut with their first single, PUSH BACK. The title track under the same name captures the identity IDID is piecing together. The songโ€™s lowkey instrumental uses deep synth, guitar riffs, and keyboard. Despite its perceived simplicity, IDID fill the track with their honest feelings. In the pre-chorus, they declare, โ€œWe don’t know what awaits us / We discover our own brilliance.โ€ IDID call themselves misfits, as rather than conform to any standards, they decide to listen to what they feel.ย

In the music video, the IDID members are seen going about their routine lives without spectacle. Still, there is a longing for music as they visibly grow restless and stare at sheet music. A literal red herring leaps to life out of ice, signifying the distraction from whatโ€™s truly important: prioritizing themselves. IDID are in touch with their feelings, assuring listeners that despite their anxieties, โ€œFailure is not the end but a prologue to me.โ€ As they continue to grow, IDID will continue to remind others that awkward phases arenโ€™t always as bad as they seem.

CHA EUNWOO – โ€œSaturday Preacherโ€

Even while in the midst of completing his military service, Eunwoo has graced fans with his second mini album, ELSE. In contrast to his first album, ELSE seeks to show Eunwooโ€™s hidden side. Eunwoo captures the fun weekend spirit in the title track, โ€œSATURDAY PREACHER.โ€ The disco-inspired song incorporates bouncing basslines, synth, and clapping, invoking nostalgia.ย

Combining futuristic elements in the music video with Eunwooโ€™s acting, the story of โ€œSATURDAY PREACHERโ€ unfolds. He takes on the role of a leader enticing those around him to ride the rhythm. Eunwooโ€™s vocals shine, shifting tones and techniques as he navigates through the song. โ€œCan’t shake off the fever / Bet you’ll be back for more,โ€ he raises in the first verse and proves through the songโ€™s catchy chorus. No matter what day, weโ€™ll listen to this โ€œSATURDAY PREACHERโ€ and find ourselves over on the dance floor.
