K-pop group ATEEZ are continuing to “Work” hard at making their mark. Recently, they scored No.1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart and No. 2 on Billboard’s 200 Chart with the release of their latest EP, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1. Previously, the eight-member group also achieved chart-topping albums, announced a stadium tour, and was the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella. With a unique sound and powerful choreography, ATEEZ have been captivating fans and bringing in new audiences. YEOSANG is just one piece to the puzzle that completes the group, allowing them to shine bright. To celebrate YEOSANG’s birthday on June 15, EnVi has put together seven facts to know about this ATEEZ vocalist and visual (and Doberman).

One of the many aspects bringing people to ATEEZ includes YEOSANG’s striking visuals. Even with unofficial-official positions given to each member, YEOSANG has garnered attention from both fans and outsiders for his captivating looks. Whether it’s an intense gaze in a photoshoot, staying in character during a performance, or a stand-out new hairstyle, YEOSANG is not shy about bringing all eyes to him. He even shows versatility through his ability to easily switch between soft charm or fierce intensity.The harmony between YEOSANG’s energy and visual appearance adds a new dimension to his dynamic within the group, charming new fans to see what ATEEZ have to offer. This visual appeal has also given YEOSANG the opportunity to shine even brighter on stage, complementing his distinct voice and his commitment to every stage and performance.
A Warm Heart

All of the ATEEZ members have shown off their vocal ranges and versatility, but YEOSANG’s voice helps add a new texture to the group’s music. It’s a voice that sticks once you recognize it.
YEOSANG is able to switch up his voice based on what is needed for each track. It can be a soft melody in songs like “Turbulence” or it can be a deep bass hitting one’s chest like in “HALAZIA.” It can even be a fun verse in a solo track like “IT’s You.” YEOSANG consistently strives to improve, as he often tells fans about his latest practice or his newest cover release. “Passion, Young, Fever”
In addition to powerful vocals and visuals, YEOSANG has secured himself as an ace through his electric stage presence. In order to execute the high energy choreography in ATEEZ songs like “Fireworks,” stamina, strength, and precision is needed — YEOSANG has just that. As part of ATEEZ’s main dancer line, YEOSANG adapts smoothly to different genres, tempos, and rhythms.
When it comes to sharp movements found in the chorus stroll of “BOUNCY,” YEOSANG performs it thoroughly. Meanwhile, for more fluid movements like in “Inception,” YEOSANG compliments the song’s passionate lyrics with gentle facial expressions and elongated gestures. Omniscient View
YEOSANG’s Omniscient View series on YouTube is one of the outlets he uses to explore his interests and share them with fans. The video series showcases YEOSANG exploring various experiments and challenges. Created at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the series served as a way for each ATEEZ member to stay connected with their fans through a new and difficult experience.
All four videos showed new sides of YEOSANG, which fans had not yet seen before. He has shared his various interests like how he owns five drones, has tried something new like a fun bubble experiment, and has engaged in challenges with his fellow members. Even before the official release of Omniscient View, YEOSANG made Dalgona coffee at home to share the curious side of his personality. This deeper look at YEOSANG showcased his caring personality, his dedication to success, and his witty humor. Not only has this endeared him to viewers of the series, but it has also provided a sneak-peak into his character off stage.
Hehetmon Nation
ATEEZ’s most recent ANITEEZ plush doll collection is all the rage among ATINY at the moment, but the origins of ATEEZ characters began with Hehetmon. The character, created by YEOSANG, first appeared around the group’s debut. It quickly became well known in the fandom and as one of YEOSANG’s main identifying points. Hehetmon is a cute, easy-to-draw character and is usually decorated with a flower or plant as a headpiece.
This creation has become a beloved character among ATEEZ fans, as it embodies a lighthearted and fun personality — a stark difference from YEOSANG’s fierce performance persona. Not only does the quirky design embody YEOSANG’s own creative passions, giving him a space to create something of his own, it also sparked interest in new opportunities for his group as a whole. In 2023, Hehetmon became part of ATEEZ’s first plush doll line-up with the release of TEEZMON. Each TEEZMON character, one for each member, is customized based on the original Hehetmon template created by YEOSANG.
MC of the Year
As part of YEOSANG’s roster of achievements, his role as MC for THE SHOW flaunts his hidden charm. In his three-year role as the broadcast show host, YEOSANG met guests with a warm demeanor and cool wit. Also, with the number of fellow idol groups making appearances, this allowed YEOSANG to engage with others and try new choreographies, including EVERGLOW’s “FIRST” and IVE’s “After Like,” peaking the interest of non-ATEEZ fans.
