It’s a universal truth that K-pop star Jaehyun can pull off nearly any look. From classic suits and modernized ‘90s fits to eclectic stage looks, the singer and actor regularly drops masterclasses on menswear.  As a Prada ambassador, Jaehyun is also particularly adroit at breathing new life into the front rows. But the last time we spotted Jaehyun in the front row was exactly one year ago when Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons were all about suits and pointy floating collars. It’s a new season and Prada is now into subtle geeky chic, matching sets, peeking boxers, and denim.

Jaehyun used these elements as the foundation of his front-row fit at the Prada Men’s Spring Summer 2025 show. The singer, member of K-pop group NCT and several of its subunits, embraced the double denim look with a subtle throwback to the ’90s and early 2000s.

Canadian Tuxedo With a Twist

ICYMI, most APAC stars worth their salt touched down in Italy this weekend to attend the highly anticipated Milan Fashion Week. Korean star Jaehyun was no exception. On June 16, he stepped out in Fondazione Prada to attend the newest Prada collection unveiling. The “Forever Only” singer, who is known for his novel takes on Prada style, rocked a slightly retro iteration of the Canadian tuxedo for the occasion.

Jaehyun paired a loose-fitting dark denim jacket with matching pants, chunky sole boots and a stylish pair of ochre-lensed rectangular glasses. Though seemingly simple, the look also embraced one of the most popular rising trends this season: the exposed underwear. Jaehyun sported a contrasting peeking boxer, creating a double waistband effect visible for everybody to see as he left a few buttons of his jacket undone.

A revamped version of the 2000s saggy pants — combined with the visible underwear craze taking over fashion since the beginning of the 2020s — this trend has been prominently spotted on the runways of Dior Homme (FW22), Thom Browne (SS23) and Miu Miu (SS23). The runway look has quickly trickled down and we’ve seen our favorite fashionistas, from Zendaya to Win Metawin, donning the trend with confidence.

Jaehyun’s Style Range

Of course, this is not the first time Jaehyun has made a case for denim on denim and double waistbands. The singer has previously flaunted his versatility and ability to slay the most divisive styles on and off stage.

Promoting NCT’s single “Baggy Jeans,” Jaehyun was often dressed in boyband iterations of the Canadian tuxedo — ‘90s leaning baggy pants and sleeveless denim vests — as well as double-waisted jeans accentuated with chunky belts. The K-pop icon even took an extra step and upgraded the peeking boxers trend with not just two but three waistbands. Talk about daring fashion statements!
