FRED Names Jin of BTS As Global Brand Ambassador
Jin of K-pop powerhouse BTS was appointed global brand ambassador of Maison FRED. The French jeweler shared the announcement on July 8, ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. Jin’s appointment follows a trend of luxury jewelry brands partnering with stars from the Asia Pacific region — specifically, celebs hailing from countries such as South Korea, Thailand and India.

FRED and Jin shared the ambassadorship announcement alongside three-image carousels uploaded to social media. In the pictures, Jin models FRED jewelry in three starkly different looks: an all-white ensemble, a Canadian tuxedo and formal black attire. Each photo demonstrates different ways of styling signature FRED pieces, such as the Force 10 Bracelet in the 18k pink gold XL and 18k white gold XL models, and the Force 10 Necklace in the 18k white gold and diamonds large model.
“I am incredibly honored and grateful to be part of the FRED family as their new global brand ambassador,” Jin shared on Instagram. “Stay tuned for our future endeavors brought about through this partnership.”
The Maison FRED team was equally enthusiastic about the new partnership. “We are incredibly proud to welcome Jin from BTS to the FRED family. A New Chapter
The singer’s collaboration with FRED marks the start of a new era for Jin. The singer recently resumed his career after completing South Korea’s mandatory military service. In this new chapter, the star is set to participate in solo activities, showcasing his playful on-screen personality and global superstardom.
FRED’s announcement is also impeccably timely. The Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games are approaching and Jin is slated to participate in the Olympic Torch Relay, across historic sites in France. With Jin in FRED’s home base, there will surely be ample opportunity for collaboration.
