Jennie Brought Aqua Blue and Blonde Hair to the Chanel Spring Summer 2025 Show
On October 1, K-pop singer Jennie made a stunning appearance at the Chanel Spring Summer 2025 show. Amidst a busy schedule and upcoming music release, Jennie kept the momentum going with her highly anticipated return to Paris Fashion Week. And she went all out. Once again, the star solidified her status as a daring fashionista with a pantless look and striking blonde hair.
A Trend Setter
For a fashion day out at Grand Palais, Jennie’s outfit danced the lines of playful, sexy and elegant. Instead of Chanel’s traditional tweed suits, the pop star opted for a pantless outfit in a trendy aqua-blue color. Brands and celebrities have popularized this shade of blue and bottomless fashion since as early as 2022. However, Jennie is among the first stars giving us a glimpse of both trends in the same look — and with a personal twist.
Her look consisted of a ribbed sweater that nodded at mod fashion with the belt and button details. But Jennie put a spin and paired the ‘60s-infused knit piece with sequined hot shorts. Sultry bottoms are a staple in Jennie’s wardrobe, but they pushed the boundaries of the classic Chanel suit.
Accessories-wise, Audrey Hepburn fundamentals — black heels, pearls, and a rectangular timepiece — adorned the outfit with classic elegance.

Blonde, Please
In the beauty front, Jennie brought out her inner Barbie girl for the front row. Flowing over her shoulders, blonde pin-straight hair enhanced the playful nature of her front-row ‘fit.
Celebrities and beauty professionals experienced a blonde hair craze after the release of the American fantasy comedy film Barbie in 2023. Jennie revived the hair trend, sans the hair damage, thanks to a wig courtesy of hairstylist Gabe Sin — an expert in the field, who has crafted blonde hair transformations for other stars in the past.
Jennie’s makeup created a doll-like appearance. Compared to Barbiecore beauty trends, Jennie sported peach tones in her makeup. The color choice complimented her complexion’s golden undertones. After applying rounded smokey eyeshadow, the makeup artist created thin lines of negative space on the outer corners. For optimum doll inspiration, Jennie’s lips were emphasized with the overlip makeup technique.
In addition to her fashion exploits, Jenie is preparing for the release of her new single, “Mantra.” At the Chanel show and talking about her front-row get-up, Jennie told WWD, “Maybe this new look is a little bit of a teaser.”
