Stray Kids – “This & That”
Why choose when you can have both? K-pop boy group Stray Kids do it all in “This & That,” their latest comeback. “This & That” is the lead single of band’s new eight-track EP of the same name. The eight members — Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N — let confidence do the talking in this midtempo hip-hop track. Bass-heavy beats populate the laidback rap verses and chorus refrain of “this and that.” The members switch from lighthearted choices between different cars and coffees to their unrelenting hard work, boasting in the chorus, “I’ma rip a show and then hit the studio / I do this and that.”
The music video places Stray Kids front and center. It surrounds the group’s sharp choreography with headless dancers and chaotic visuals — even calling back to previous music videos like “God’s Menu” in one scene. Preceding “This & That,” Stray Kids released “RUN IT,” the anthemic opening track of the EP. Made for the stage, “RUN IT” became the namesake of the band’s newly announced fourth world tour, which began at the end of July at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. Between tour dates and their headlining Latin American festival series STRAYCITY, Stray Kids prove that they are more than capable of doing this and that.
FLO – “Cry Ugly”
British girl group FLO return with their highly anticipated album, THERAPY AT THE CLUB, and the newest single, “Cry Ugly.” Full of FLO’s signature layered harmonies, “Cry Ugly” is a smooth R&B ballad that muses on self-worth and frustrating partners. A looping guitar melody creates a thread between each verse as members Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer bring the heartbreak. The chorus tagline, “You know how to make a pretty girl cry ugly,” sums up the sentiment. FLO evoke girl group excellence in the music video, performing suave choreography in a room full of rain and spotlights.
THERAPY AT THE CLUB is the group’s sophomore album — their first since receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album for their debut album, Access All Areas. FLO will bring the album on tour across East and Southeast Asia this fall, giving fans a taste of the hottest new tracks.
TUL8TE, Elyanna – “Haneish”
Egyptian rapper and singer-songwriter TUL8TE teams up with Elyanna on the hopeful, romantic song “Haneish,” translated in English as “we’ll live.” Elyanna, who is of Palestinian and Chilean descent, bridges both Latin and Arab pop in the track, balancing with the masked TUL8TE’s lower tones. Strummed classical guitar melodies control the track alongside sharp percussion and a head-bopping bassline. The upbeat track weaves a story of looking forward to brighter days with your lover and living the life you dreamed of together. “And nothing will ever steal our happiness / not even for a moment,” the duo harmonizes in the chorus. “Without a word / my love / the whole world is in our hands.”
“Haneish” comes from TUL8TE’s newest album, Sadeek El Bernameg, and marks his first collaboration with Elyanna. Elyanna herself has recently performed at the FIFA World Cup Opening Match in Toronto, Canada. She performed alongside singer Jessie Reyez as they sang “Illuminate,” a song off the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album.

PP KRIT – “Your Candy”
PP KRIT’s latest release, “Your Candy,” bridges yearning and sensuality in the sweetest way. The Thai singer, actor, and model is back with another single, this time with a cute love song perfect for those lazy summer afternoons. “Your Candy” is a slow-tempo R&B track built on snare percussion with piano and string melody accompaniment. PP KRIT’s soft voice and cheeky lyrics complement the track from the opening, as he sings coquettishly, “Wanna be your piece of candy / Try me, I’m so sweet / I want you to have a taste.”
PP KRIT dials up the sweet summer vibes in the music video, lazing around in a pastel-hued room surrounded by bowls of candies and lollipops. The video also stars Thai models and actresses Thanaerng Kanyawee and Nychaa Nuttanicha as they accompany the singer on their summer afternoon. PP KRIT has had a busy year, releasing collaborations with GALCHANIE and T-pop group BUS member NEX, as well as sharing the stage with singer and dancer TEN during the latter’s concert series, “TEN: CORE0110.” Fans can surely anticipate every new release from PP KRIT, each sweeter than the last!
Ichiko Aoba – “Shiranui”
Slowing things down, Ichiko Aoba returns with her latest single, “Shiranui.” Created for the upcoming short film of the same name, which is set to be released at the end of August, the song serves as its main soundtrack title. With vocals that bewitch listeners, the song eases into a softer, slower tempo, surrounded by gentle wind instruments and delicate violins. The orchestral touches create an airy, dreamlike atmosphere that carries the song effortlessly. Carried by Ichiko’s delicate melodies, the song focuses on her soft, ethereal vocals while narrating a story of longing and heartache. Ichiko sings heartfully, “Creation and destruction, received from you, I named it ‘love.’” and “The pain in my heart, sharing the sight with you.”
“Shiranui” marks Ichiko’s second movie track release after she participated in the soundtrack for the full-length version of the short Amiko (2017) in 2022. As she tours Japan and Australia in the coming months, listeners can expect to hear her classic hits during her Across the Oceans Tour this fall.
KAROL G, Judeline, and Rusowsky – “BbY WOW”
La Tropicoqueta enters her new era with the release of her latest album, No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto. The full-length project consists of fourteen new tracks and delivers a crossover of languages and artists, with collaborations featuring Drake, Greg Gonzalez, Judeline, and Bruno Mars.
First teasing the project during her tour this past summer, Karol G trades her upbeat and carefree energy for a more vulnerable and sentimental side, without losing the essence of who she has always been. Her “Bichota” persona shines through on “BbY WOW,” a collaboration with Judeline and Rusowsky that pays homage to the classic 2000s hit “Move Ya Body,” bringing its recognizable sample into the track.
Longing for a lost love who is no longer in her life, Karol sings, “Your song is playing, and you’re not here by my side / I know I shouldn’t, even though I think about you way too much.” The track’s melancholy is tucked beneath layered synths and reggaeton beats, tying together the contrasting vocal flows of Judeline and Rusowsky.
Marquise – “IRONIC”
Thai soloist and The Debut: Dream Academy alum Marquise is joining her fellow ex-contestant-turned-soloists in bringing the fun back to the dance floors with “IRONIC.” After debuting this past summer with her single “dontneedyouanymore,” Marquise is back with a revenge song that will have ex-lovers realizing their mistakes and haters tuning in to witness her newfound success.
Coming as a surprise release earlier this week, the track arrived on all major streaming platforms with a message aimed at making the hate feel ironic, as she sings, “I know you’re obsessed, isn’t that ironic? / Send a knife to your door, jealousy cuts you to the core.” The track’s steady synths, layered with the breathy vocal hook “It’s ironic,” feel reminiscent of early-2000s Pussycat Dolls tracks, with a twist of 2020s influence. Looking ahead to the next stepping stone in her career, Marquise is inviting fans to celebrate the new release with her in Los Angeles on August 14.
Nariaki and 5lack – “Icchola”
For the first time in seven years, Tokyo’s hottest duo reunites to bring their latest collaborative album, “Icchola”. Consisting of eight new tracks, Nariaki and 5lack bring old-school R&B and soulful blues to their second project together, inspired by the musical backgrounds the two artists have encountered and crossed paths through. The album draws inspiration from the late-1990s hip-hop and early-2000s R&B scenes, including its title track, “Icchola,” which translates to “Sunday’s Best” and pinpoints the album’s central hip-hop theme. Opening with a steady drumbeat and playful upbeats, both artists’ individual aesthetics shine through, with vocals and flowy rap verses that make it feel as if the duo has been working together for years. With jazzy touches and delicate piano chords, Nariaki and 5lack aren’t afraid to bring you their best for a Sunday morning.
