LVMH-owned Spanish brand Loewe announced the appointment of its newest global ambassador, Wang Yibo on June 21. The multihyphenate Chinese singer, actor and motorcycle racer made his first public appearance as a Loewe ambassador at the brand’s Spring Summer 2025 presentation in Paris.

Wang Yibo Emerges as a Fashion Force

Chinese heartthrob Wang Yibo has come a long way since he first made his debut as a singer in the early 2010s. As he transitioned into acting and the world of professional motorcycle racing, the star rose to acclaim, quickly receiving the attention of brands across the commercial spectrum.

In the fashion and luxury realm, Wang Yibo has consistently stood out as a magazine cover star, as well as an endorser and ambassador for brands such as Chanel, Lacoste, Moncler and Swarovski.

Now, the Chinese icon joins the likes of Canadian actor Taylor Russell and Chinese star Yang Mi as part of the Loewe family.

Regarding the appointment, Jonathan Anderson, Loewe’s Creative Director, shared, “We are delighted to have Wang Yibo join the Loewe family. […] We are fascinated by his multifaceted approach to creativity and believe it resonates with the multifaceted identity of Loewe.”

The artist, on the other hand, noted Loewe’s heritage and creative prowess. “To me, Loewe represents a relentless pursuit of craft and bold aesthetics,” he said in a statement. “Jonathan Anderson creates a unique visual language by incorporating humor from everyday life into his collections and drawing inspiration from the art world. I am looking forward to joining the family and creating many great moments together.”

Paris Fashion Week Loewe Debut

Though Wang Yibo has been a regular face in the front rows of Paris Fashion Week, the star made his first appearance as a Loewe ambassador on June 22. Attending the brand’s Spring Summer 2025 menswear show, the actor prompted a Loewe Mania in the streets of Paris.

He arrived in La Garde Républicaine, where the show took place, dressed in a look that perfectly encapsulated Loewe’s contemporary and vanguardist style — a black suit paired with one of the brand’s best-selling Anagram tank tops and layered with a denim shirt adorned with bright-colored pieces of fabric.

Yibo grounded the look with a pair of tan boots and a messy chic hairstyle reminiscent of the ‘90s short spiky hair favored among boybands and A-list actors.

Fans and fashion enthusiasts are used to seeing Wang Yibo rock stylish front-row and red-carpet looks. (At the Chanel fashion shows, for example, he has usually donned tweed jackets and brand staples.) However, as he welcomes a new style era by the hand of Loewe, which is recognized for its avant-garde designs and boundary-pushing style, people can look forward to more of the multifaceted star’s stellar fashion moments.
