With their powerful and fierce stage presence, NCT’s members have left viewers of the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in awe. Many took to Twitter expressing their reactions to the 23-member boy group’s striking visuals, performance, and vocals.
YUTA: WHO IS THAT BEAUTIFUL MAN SPEAKING JAPANESE?
The members of NCT all gathered together to accept the award for Favorite Male Group, their acceptance speech was given in five languages—Korean, English, Mandarin, Thai, and Japanese. Japanese member Yuta left many K-Pop fans wondering who was the beautiful man was speaking Japanese.
LUCAS: WHO WAS THE RED HAIRED GUY WHO WINKED?
Lucas may have won his own award during MAMA—The Winking Red Hair Guy—according to one tweet in response to Lucas’s endearing winking moment.
TAEYONG: CONSUMMATE PERFORMER
Perhaps one of the memorable highlights of NCT’s stage performance was during their VCR moment, where NCT’s leader Taeyong left both NCTzens and other K-Pop fans in awe after he was presented center stage.
TAEIL, HAECHAN & DOYOUNG: OUTSTANDING VOCALS
Recognized as three of NCT’s main vocalists, Taeil, Haechan, and Doyoung, high-notes during the “From Home” stage left many in awe of their powerful vocals. NCTzens proudly congratulated the vocalists for their outstanding performance.
The group’s fans weren’t the only ones blown away by NCT U’s stage, as fans of other groups were curious to know the names of these amazing singers, and if there’s one thing Nctzens are good at, it’s promoting their beloved group to the world.
