On April 25, the stars stepped out on the annual Oscars red carpet for an unusual ceremony split in two locations: the Dolby Theater and the Union Station in Los Angeles, California. To commemorate the 93rd year of the Academy Awards show, guests donned some of the biggest brands in fashion with their own personal touch. With all the glitz and glam, it seemed like the night flew by, so EnVi’s fashion team broke down some of the most iconic outfits of the night.

Zendaya in Valentino

Zendaya shined in an Haute couture Valentino gown with a bold cutout, styled by Law Roach. The Euphoria actress delivered detail with Bulgari jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels. It seemed that even Mother Nature was on her side as the wind blew through her soft waves, completing the spring look.

Viola Davis in Alexander McQueen 

As the most nominated Black woman in Oscars history, Viola Davis, walked through the red carpet in an Alexander McQueen dress. The American actress, who was nominated in the best actress category for her performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, surprised viewers with an all-white beaded corset top and flowing chiffon skirt, a shockingly contrasting choice compared to the colorful looks she had stuck to throughout this award season. The look was beautifully accessorized with two bracelets, a ring, and a pair of drop diamond earrings from Forevermark.

Arguably the cutest attendee, Kim redefined the formal dress code in custom Thom Browne. His black tuxedo attire included classic backstrap shorts along with the iconic 4-bar socks. With a recent hairstyle transformation, Halle Berry made a memorable return to in-person events. The actress and Oscar winner stepped out in a Dolce & Gabbana strapless gown with a plunging neckline and an oversized bow attached to the front. Alongside Thomas, H.E.R. wore custom DUNDAS pieces by Peter Dundas both on the red carpet and the stage. According to Vogue, the dress was designed by Giorgio Armani himself and its pleated form was inspired by hibiscus flowers.
