keshi – “Say”

Don’t call it a comeback! American Vietnamese musician keshi makes his highly anticipated return after a two-year hiatus with his new single, “Say.” Following the success of his acclaimed debut album GABRIEL, “Say” serves as the lead single for keshi’s upcoming sophomore album REQUIEM, which is set to be released on September 13. The alternative-R&B singer delivers a smooth new anthem of longing and desire, as he urges his new love interest to openly declare their feelings for him, even when their attraction is evident by their gaze alone. Over a pensive pulse and groovy city-pop instrumentals, keshi passionately yearns for that person to explicitly express their feelings for him, as he sings, “Baby, say the word, and I’ll be yours.” The song’s bridge captures the tension and excitement of a connection that’s on the verge of becoming fully realized.

To celebrate the track’s release, keshi held a worldwide scavenger hunt for fans to find signed copies of the song’s sheet music at select record stores.

Ice Spice and Central Cee – “Did It First”

Ice Spice has dropped another single ahead of her debut album Y2K! This time, she teams up with British rapper Central Cee on the viral track “Did It First,” which has already gained over four million views on YouTube. The song is a fierce expression of dealing with a cheating partner by giving them a taste of their own medicine. Asia Chow – “The Sleeping Dog”

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Asia Chow is back with another single, following her debut track “Days Unchanged” and her mournful folk rendition of The Weeknd’s “Save Your Tears.” Emerging in the indie-folk scene, Chow has distinguished herself with a blend of folk, country, and nostalgic pop. In her latest track, “The Sleeping Dog,” Chow draws inspiration from her dog’s unshakeable serenity and learns to embrace the present moment. “The Sleeping Dog” is a tender reminder to find joy in the simple, everyday moments, much like the companionship of a beloved pet. The accompanying music video features endearing snapshots of her friends’ and family’s dogs, including Blackpink’s Rosé’s own Hank, creating a soothing experience for pet owners and music enthusiasts alike.

“My toxic personality trait is that I must acknowledge every dog that I come across. It’s almost concerning how much I love dogs,” Chow shared in a press release. “Anyways, I was looking at my dog one day; she looked extra cute and peaceful. I thought about how grateful I was to know her and love her and how she teaches me to be more present and live in the moment. I wrote the song while I was thinking about all that. It had been a goal of mine to write more songs that were not ‘sad girl vibes’ and it makes a lot of sense that one of them would be inspired by my iconic dog. Love her!”
