NCT’s Taeyong and Red Velvet’s Seulgi are no strangers to collaborations. They previously shared the stage of the 2017 Mnet Asia Music Awards and most recently dropped the self-composed track “Rose,” on SoundCloud. Understandably, both singer’s fandoms still set the internet ablaze when Seulgi shared a dance practice video of NCT U’s “Make a Wish,” featuring none other than Taeyong himself.

Making A Wish Come True

On June 24, the member of Red Velvet posted a video on her official Instagram account, surprising fans with the presence of her labelmate, Taeyong. Dressed in sporty outfits and showing their impressive skills, the duo danced to the 2020 hit, “Make a Wish.” Accompanying the video, Seulgi captioned, “I’m not sure when I’ll be filming again, even if this is just a practice video I took after learning from Taeyong.” The singer also made sure to thank NCT’s leader, adding, “This is a dance I really wanted to learn, but I want to say thank you again to Taeyong for teaching me so well.”

Taeyong and Seulgi Through The Years

As previously noted, this is not the first time Taeyong and Seulgi team up together. Before debuting as a member of NCT, Taeyong was featured on Red Velvet’s single “Be Natural.” The friends later showed their chemistry through a performance at the 2017 MAMA in Hong Kong where they danced to a remix of “I Just” and “AROUND.”

On June 7, the label mates also melted hearts with the sweet tune, “Rose,” that tells, back and forth, the story of two lovers. Credited as writers, Seulgi and Taeyong, co-composed the song with the producer SQUAR, who is known for working on previous NCT releases.

As fans continue to hope for more collaborations between Seulgi and Taeyong, we look forward to whatever the two friends have in store for us in their future activities. In the meantime, you can reminisce about Taeyong And Seulgi Team Up For Rose.
