The ceremony featured music from pop singer Madge, EDM artist Odetari rapper Lay Bankz, and K-pop acts KISS OF LIFE and Mark Tuan. 2024 VALORANT Champions Seoul

First, alternative pop singer Madge clocked in as the first act of the night with their electro-pop single “2WORLDS.” Embodying the playful attitude of VALORANT’s Scottish non-binary troublemaker, Madge and the dancers gave an energetic performance under purple stage lighting, clad in lilac apparel to match.

Combining in-game content with real-time performances, VALORANT’s Clove transitioned the audience to underground EDM’s most profound artist Odetari with “RUN!” Hyping up the atmosphere with his signature glitchy soundscape, Odetari exuded confidence as dancers executed powerful choreography. Then, agent Iso initiated his “Ultimate” ability to pull in rapper Lay Bankz for a remote performance. A montage of notable gameplay moments was woven into her performance, heightening the song’s intense cat-and-mouse feel.

VALORANT’s new Sentinel Agent, Vyse, manipulated the stage for Mark Tuan, who kicked off “SUPERPOWER.” Styled in black streetwear and steel accessories, Mark Tuan delivered an effortless rap. Tuan then passed the mic to KISS OF LIFE members Natty and Julie. Usually known for their sensual, feminine releases, the duo debuted powerful choreography and unwavering spirit. As if the performers’ infectious energy wasn’t enough, professional VALORANT players Boaster (FNATIC) and Crws (TALON) were captured dancing in the crowd — just as they practiced. As the glamorous ceremony came to an end, the gameplay finally commenced.

Victory for Edward Gaming

After months of hair-raising matches and riveting performances from the world’s top 16 teams, the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 reached its grand finale on August 25. After more than five hours of intense gameplay, EDG emerged victorious with a score of 3-2. Thus, EDG was crowned the 2024 World Champions of VALORANT, securing their first international championship and making history for VCT CN. In addition to the team’s achievement, EDG player ZmjjKk broke the kill record in a Bo5 series at a global event and was voted the grand finale’s MVP.
