Welcome to February, where the temperatures are dropping, but so are some incredible new hits. With tantalizing R&B tracks and bright nostalgic throwbacks, these global releases are sure to land a spot on your monthly playlist.
Niko Rubio – โFive Starโ
Niko Rubio knows her worth, and she has no problem singing it from the top of her lungs in her new single, โFive Star.โ Listeners have been waiting for the song to hit streaming platforms after it was heard live when Rubio opened for The Two Lips on the fall leg of their tour. The singer also performed โSunday Girl,โ which was unreleased at the time, but when that dropped, fans knew โFive Starโ couldnโt be far behind.
โFive Starโ leans on chic rock with Rubioโs confidence overflowing with every lyric. In the video that was uploaded alongside the song, the singer wears a bright red bustier, reminiscent of Selena. Rubio wraps herself in a feather boa of the same shade, keeping all eyes on her. Staring into the camera, she sings, โIโm a five-star beauty queen / I can do it all, boy / Just treat me right / And baby, you can have it, enjoy.โ โFive Starโ was paired with โSunday Girlโ on Spotify, possibly suggesting other songs joining them later this year.
Billlie – โcloud palaceโ

Billlie are slowing the pace down this week with โcloud palace.โ Dedicated to their fans, Belllieโve, โcloud palaceโ guides listeners through a sense of false awakening as it acts as an end to their palace trilogy. While the original track begins slowly and over time slips into an evenly paced R&B tempo, it was also released with two remixes: the โBefore moonset mixโ and โBefore moonrise mix.โ Both transcend into different soundscapes, one faster and one more relaxed, but they maintain the essence of the original โcloud palace.โ
โSince this pre-release single is the album that opens 2026, we wanted to convey Billlieโs music universe that has become even deeper,โ said member MOON SUA. โMore than anything, we wanted to share our heartfelt message to our fandom, Belllieโve, who has always been waiting for us.โ After winding down from their time on KPOPPED with Megan Thee Stallion in 2025, Billlie are preparing for a strong and meaningful year with each other and their Belllieโve.
KiiiKiii – โ404 (New Era)โ

2016 is back indeed, and KiiiKiii are already ahead of the curve. Released on January 26, โ404 (New Era)โ serves as the title track to their second EP, Delulu Pack. Based on the computer error โ404: Not Found,โ KiiiKiiiโs retro house track is about finding freedom โ and yourself โ in embracing whatโs yet to come.
Its music video also brings back some much-needed vibrance and pop of color thatโs been missing in K-pop visuals for a while. Featuring VCR throwback videos from their childhoods to breaking out choreography inspired by voguing in public, audiences are applauding the group for their nostalgic and fun vibes. Calling โall the girlies to the floor,โ the new KiiiKiii is here to stay and challenge you to answer the question: who do you wish to be?
GIRIBOY, Heize – โNever Meant to Beโ

If thereโs one thing these two artists have mastered, itโs the art of constantly delivering the most comforting music about the worst heartbreaks. Marking their fifth collaboration since June 2022, โNever Meant to Beโ is an upbeat R&B track about the tempting pull of a relationship post-breakup.
Released on January 29, their new EP Never Meant to Be features four tracks written and composed by both singers. The EP explores the confusing concept of how sometimes love isnโt enough to keep people together and what the aftermath looks like from two different perspectives. So sit back, have a cup of coffee or journal in hand, and letโs reminisce over the past with our good friends GIRIBOY and Heize.
Yuna – โbelieverโ

Get ready to become a devotee of Yuna with her newest single, โbeliever.โ Itโs the seductive second single from the Malaysian singer-songwriterโs upcoming mini album, The Valour Hour. For this track, she partnered with Olmo Zucca, a renowned producer known for his work on Tylaโs hit โWater.โ
โBelieverโ explores desire and the search for meaningful connection. The track immediately captivates with its glittering opening notes and hypnotic grooves. Layered percussion, deep bass, and Yunaโs enchanting vocals combine to create an electrifying sound escape. Yuna explores the question in the pre-chorus: โIs it love? The kind that you could save the day if you wanted?โ Sheโs not looking for a superficial lover; sheโs looking for a believer whoโs willing to go beyond surface attraction, unafraid to dive deeper into her waters and make their love โlast a lifetime.โ
ONE OR EIGHT – โTOKYO DRIFTโ

โWonder if you know / How they live in Tokyo?โ Japanese boy group ONE OR EIGHT definitely do, and theyโre ready to show you! The octet returns with their latest mini album, GATHER, led by the fast-paced title track โTOKYO DRIFT.โ The track samples the iconic theme song from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift by Teriyaki Boyz. ONE OR EIGHTโs song revs up immediately with the sample before sliding into a cocky delivery of โTokyo drifting / Come to the city, and we do it different.โ The braggadocious rap energy and sharp confidence carry throughout the track, with lines like โI could keep them guessing, got โem at attention / Iโll be teaching lessons, Iโll be making messes.โ
The single is paired with an action-packed music video bursting with Tokyo street style, vibrant visuals, and, of course, plenty of fast cars that capture the cityโs electric spirit. โTOKYO DRIFTโ sets the tone for the eight-track project, which leans into hip-hop with a standout sample from Rihanna and a feature from Big Sean.
MARO – โSO MUCH HAS CHANGEDโ
Portuguese singer-songwriter MARO is back with her latest album, SO MUCH HAS CHANGED. The same-named track opens with gentle keys and smooth percussion, moving at a slow, swaying pace. The nostalgic melodies and tender instrumentation make it the kind of track you can drift away to as MARO reflects on growing older and learning to let go. She sings, โTime is going way faster / But suddenly thereโs no pressure / One day at a time / Just trust me, youโll be fine.โ
The music video features childhood home videos and scenes of an adult-MARO walking along a wooded trail and scenic oceanfronts. โSO MUCH HAS CHANGEDโ is a tender track that makes it impossible not to get lost in nostalgia yourself while listening.
nkei – โKnow What We Knowโ

Straight from Singapore, nkei โ made up of friends Ian Lee and Raizel Gonzalez โ return with their new single, โKnow What We Know.โ This release marks their first single in two years, following 2024โs โCherry.โ For longtime fans, the release is an early glimpse of their forthcoming album.
โKnow What We Knowโ ventures into a bolder R&B groove for the pair, expanding on their previous, more subtle sound. The track lingers on post-situatioship tension with staccato guitar lines, snappy drums, and layered harmonies courtesy of Farizi Noorfauzi of CURB. Delving into the space between nostalgia and heartbreak, the song captures the confusion of remembering moments that once felt secure but are now suspended in an emotional ambiguity.
The songโs ending refrain โ โWhen it is what it is / When we know what we knowโ โ is not only catchy, but also reaffirms the contemplation of letting the past go or plunging into what you already know is troubled waters. With February being the month where romance is at an all-time high, nkeiโs โKnow What We Knowโ is the perfect partner for those looking for a little bit of love and heartache.ย
Other tracks in this weekโs Sunday Spin playlist include โTELL ME WHAT I DIDโ by Tiffany Day, โStill Sincereโ by MJ Cole and PinkPantheress, and โIKYTOโ by Riovaz. Listen to everything mentioned and more, curated by Team EnVi only for you on Spotify.
