The boisterous track opens with an instantly catchy hook that repeats through the duration of the two-minute song. The mild production and B.I’s laid-back delivery make “Tasty” reminiscent of early ’00s mainstream hip-hop. “Tasty” was made by an elite team of industry heavyweights. Producers Malibu Babie, Vaughn Oliver, and Tobias Wincorn are known for their work with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Latto, and Jack Harlow, respectively.

The song features bold lyrics and an infectious beat, fitting right into B.I’s extensive discography. “Tasty” is primarily in English with minimal Korean throughout the verses. The lyrics emphasize confidence and allure, with lines like “Say my name when they ask what’s the big idea / yeah your boyfriend’s cool but he ain’t top tier.”

The music video captures B.I hanging out with friends and dancing outside of the Tasty Restaurant. While the music video doesn’t offer much cinematically, it highlights B.I’s charisma and standout dance performance.
