While the Neo Culture Institute of Technology (NCIT) came and went in the blink of an eye, NCT 127 did not leave fans much time to grieve. Following the short-lived NCIT pre-promotional content and the official comeback announcement, NCT 127 dropped a teaser schedule and a mood sampler for their upcoming STICKER album on August 24 at 12 AM KST.

A Generous Timetable

The schedule that NCT 127 posted on their Instagram and Twitter pages has two parts. Half of the picture is of mysterious goopy yet thorny-looking objects, while the bottom portion features the release schedule for the next month leading up until STICKER drops. Over the course of the next few weeks, NCT 127 will be dropping a series of teasers, including images, track videos, and music video teasers.

Today, NCT 127 dropped the first official STICKER album teaser: the mood sampler. In this 35 second clip, the nine members posed before a green background over a classically neo, electronic tune– a beat courtesy of EDM artist IMLAY. The camera panned from each person as they showed off their new, chic STICKER era looks.

A New Meme in NCity

While some fans were surprised by the minimal backdrop, others took this as an opportunity to get creative and place NCT 127 in the environments they wanted to see them in! NCTzens shared their edits on the Twitter hashtag “#일이칠크로마키따기챌린지,” which translates to 127 Chroma Key Challenge.

NCT 127 will surely drop more fun content for fans to meme in the coming days leading up to the release of NCT 127’s third full-length album. STICKER will drop on September 17 with 11 songs, and fans can look forward to a preview of some of the songs in the upcoming track videos. Fans can also be sure to keep an eye out for the release of their reality show NCT Life in Gapyeong later on this month.
