NCT reached two milestones in one day, and we’re here to celebrate them!
On March 15, 2021, NCT hit six million Twitter followers on the @NCTsmtown account. NCT is approaching their fifth anniversary as a group, and their growth since their start in 2016 is no doubt displayed by this feat.
Not only did they achieve this milestone on social media, but they also hit one hundred million views on their debut music video for “The 7th Sense.” “The 7th Sense” was the beginning of it all for NCT, and to have that work rewarded, even just with views, made the leader and member Taeyong sentimental looking back on his debut. He sent a heartfelt message on the app Bubble, thanking fans for blessing them with the accomplishment. He finished his letter off to fans wishing them goodnight and assuring them that no matter what people would say, they were doing well.

Besides Taeyong, Doyoung also left a heartfelt message on his Instagram story to fans. Pondering why it felt so special that “The 7th Sense” music video had hit one hundred million views after nearly five years, Doyoung stated, “I think this is surely because of the gratefulness I have towards the fans who have been with us since five years ago till this moment, and towards the fans who started liking us during the time that has passed.”
Doyoung and Taeyong both debuted in “The 7th Sense,” along with members Ten, Jaehyun, and Mark. It should be noted that NCT had a two part debut, releasing “Without You” the day after “The 7th Sense,” introducing Taeil to the group alongside Doyoung and Jaehyun, even featuring member Winwin in the music video. Congrats to NCT on these amazing accomplishments!
