P1HARMONY – “UNIQUE”
After wrapping up their world tour, P1HARMONY have returned to showcase their “UNIQUE” colors. The six-member group has earned their irreplaceable status over the last five years and aren’t afraid to confidently show off the talent that got them to where they are today.
Though there are multiple high points in the energetic title track, the catchiest and most recognizable comes in the chorus as the dance winds up. As they slowly enter the verse, the group repeats “My crew unique” for three lines. Between the phrases, they packed in addictive dance moves inspired by Afro dance. This isn’t the only moment of intense choreography, though. The whole song is packed with dynamic solo and synchronized moves that keep the viewer engaged from start to finish.
“UNIQUE” is one of six songs on the group’s ninth mini album by the same name. If you’re looking to break free from this slow winter with fast-paced songs that make you want to move, look no further than P1HARMONY’s latest.
Niko Rubio – “Ride It”
Mexican Salvadorian singer Niko Rubio is on a roll. After the release of “Sunday Girl” and “Five Star,” fans weren’t expecting to hear new music for a while. But earlier this week, she surprised everyone by announcing “Ride It.” The track marks Rubio’s return to her signature reggae sound that she’s found heavy success through with previous songs like “Ring Ring.”
“Ride It” brings a bit of sunshine to our week with a warm tempo, which leads the melody and backing harmony. The song is primarily led by a groovy percussion until some strings are picked up through the first chorus. Though “Ride It” sits at about two and a half minutes, the song feels longer due to the lack of repetition within. Outside the chorus, the verses differ, stating witty remarks and ideas about Rubio’s wants versus others’.
Though Rubio has already released a handful of songs this year, she has more up her sleeve. She will be hosting a release party for “Ride It” where she will be singing more unreleased music. Along with the drop of “Ride It,” she also announced she will be going on her first headline tour, “The Sunday Girl Tour,” which will begin mid-April.
Saba and No I.D. – “Paygrade Demo”
Chicago rapper Saba links up once again with legendary producer No I.D. on “Paygrade Demo.” The single is a previously unreleased track celebrating the one-year anniversary of their album From the Private Collection. The smooth, head-nodding single opens with Saba reflecting on the hustle of chasing opportunities, learning lessons, and navigating life in the city. He flows into a chorus about wanting more while recognizing some things are just “above your paygrade.
No I.D.’s production is smooth, precise, and effortlessly balanced to let Saba’s lyrics shine. Subtle shifts in the beat keep the energy moving, giving the track a vibe that’s overall chill and dynamic. The duo even gave fans a behind-the-scenes look into the creation behind the track in an episode of Apollo Artist Session. From clever metaphors to its effortlessly catchy flow, “Paygrade Demo” is the perfect way to celebrate the anniversary of the duo’s acclaimed album.

Rakhano – “Ruang Rindu”

Indonesian singer Rakhano is breathes new life into a classic with his remake of “Ruang Rindu,” the 2005 Letto hit known for its bittersweet sense of longing. The song opens with gentle imagery of memories drifting by like leaves in a river. Then it builds into a chorus about holding on to warmth and connection, even as time inevitably pulls people apart. Rakhano’s added soft electronic textures, richer instrumentation, and layered harmonies elevate the track. He keeps the emotional core while adding production touches that give the track a refreshed sound.
This remake is about helping younger audiences connect with the feeling of nostalgia that makes the original so powerful. In a press release, Rakhano said he hopes the song reminds people that longing isn’t just about missing a person. You can also long for a place, a memory, or even small, meaningful moments.

1 Umbrella – “Change My Ways

Bay Area hip-hop supergroup 1 Umbrella returns with a brand new visual for “Change My Ways” from their debut LP, 1 Umbrella. Consisting of San Francisco and Oakland rappers ALLBLACK, Lil Bean, 22nd Jim, ZayBang, and Lil Yee, EMPIRE’s 1 Umbrella hit the ground running in early 2026. “Change My Ways,” the 11th track on the 15-track LP, sees ALLBLACK and 22nd Jim pair up on a smooth, driving beat. Accompanied by a jazzy saxophone, the two trade off verses on staying authentic and counting their successes. “Doin’ what we want and when we want, they can’t control us,” 22nd Jim raps in the chorus with a laidback tone. ALLBLACK opens his following verse with the declaration, “We the ones who put shit on, our opps be rockin’ merch, yeah.”
The music video, filmed at California’s Lake Tahoe, features the 1 Umbrella crew kicking back at a lakehouse. Recording and production equipment is set up alongside a pool table, proving that the music doesn’t stop. Even though all five members came together from established careers before 2026, the crew’s connection is palpable through the screen. In an interview with YS Baby from Hood Clips, Lil Yee shared that “it’s just what it is” because they are close outside of the music. “We all under one umbrella for real,” he added.
Kiro Akiyama – “DO NOT DISTURB”

Japanese soloist Kiro Akiyama is back with his fifth album Magic if. Featuring other pre-release tracks like “Wannabe” and “INSOMNIA,” the album begins with the eclectic track “DO NOT DISTURB.” Fully self-produced, the song combines plucked piano notes and acoustic guitar with glitchy electronic production and vocals. The verses take on a stronger, more desperate tone, while the chorus lets the instrumentals take over.
The themes of vulnerability and introspection tie into the overall story of the album. The title, Magic if, ties into a technique for actors in which they ask “what if” questions to understand their characters better. “In order to sing about a wider range of things than usual, I came up with some ‘what if’ hypotheses,” Akiyama shared in a press release. He used questions like “What if I had lived a different life?” and “What if the world were not like this?” to deepen his songwriting ability. Perhaps because of this, the album has a “slightly different flavor from before,” according to Akiyama.
Akiyama is also known for his TV Anime OSTs, including “Identity” (from The Promised Neverland Season 2), “SKETCH” (from My Hero Academia Season 6), and, most recently, “Quest” (from The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest), which is the second track on Magic if.
Mon Laferte – “Femme Fatale” (Spotify Sessions)

Latin sensation Mon Laferte is bringing jazz back to our playlists with her latest live performance of “Femme Fatale.” This new rendition brings a new twist to the original by recording in an intimate studio setting alongside an all-female jazz ensemble. The track continues the seductive, jazzy tones the original exudes and expands them into a more luring, vocally charged anthem, accompanied by the piano, double bass, and saxophone. Mon Laferte not only took the role of being an artist but also musically directed the session.
Spotify invited Mon Laferte to kick off their fifth anniversary celebrating EQUAL — a global program celebrating women in audio and leadership. Included in the “Spotify Sessions” EQUAL Edition are songs such as “Otra Noche de Llorar,” “Veracruz,” “1:30,” and “Melancolía.” Mon Laferte shared, “I felt it was the perfect opportunity to do something different, not play the songs exactly as they are.” “Being in this jazz universe allowed us to improvise and let the music breathe in a new way,” she added.
SKINZ – “Poison Ivy”

Virtual idol group SKINZ starts a new chapter with the release of their first mini album, “SKINZ IS SKINZ,” and its lead single “Poison Ivy.” The members — Dael, Dovin, Theo, Finn, Jaon, Ilang Kwon, and Yull — sing about a toxic relationship. In the track, the septet know the consequences won’t be good but still getting pulled back into it. The track opens with the sound of a light match being struck, blending R&B elements with heavy bass. With lyrics backed by soft lines — such as “Poison ivy, you’re my curse” — SKINZ shows us why we should maybe think twice before falling in love.
Debuting in 2025, SKINZ are a group like no other. The seven members blur the boundaries between virtual artistry and real-world cultural impact. Their name reflects their futuristic concept, as SKINZ stands for Synthetic, Kinetic, Infinite, Next-gen, and Zenith. Debuting with “Young and Loud,” the group has established itself as one of K-pop’s most forward-thinking acts. As stated in a press release, “As the line between reality and digital existence continues to dissolve, SKINZ stands at the forefront of a new era.”
Other tracks in this week’s Sunday Spin playlist include “AA (Alone Again)” by GEMINI, “All I Did Was Dream Of You” by beabadoobee ft. The Marías, and “Love Catcher” by YENA. Listen to everything mentioned and more, curated by Team EnVi only for you on Spotify.
