Seulgi – “Baby, Not Baby”

Red Velvet member SEULGI steps into her power with “Baby, Not Baby,” the bold pop-dance lead single from her second solo EP, Accidentally On Purpose. Produced by GRAMMY-nominated Erick Serna and written by K-pop hitmaker KENZIE, the track unfolds over a funky bassline and electric guitars as SEULGI delivers a clear message: she’s more than just “your baby.” The song’s confident vibe captures the dissonance of wanting to be seen for who you really are, mixed with a unique vulnerability that only those who have grown up in the spotlight like SEULGI, can deliver. It’s a statement track that sets the tone for the EP, highlighting her growth and range as a solo artist.

JADE – “FUFN”
Jade Thirlwall is back with “FUFN (F*ck You For Now),” the third single from her upcoming solo album. Fresh off her BRIT Award win for Best Pop Act, the song is co-written with heavy hitters RAYE and Dave Hamelin, and co-produced by Lostboy. The track showcases Jade’s wide range as a solo artist. “FUFN” offers a club-ready pop sound that reflects her Little Mix roots while venturing into fresh territory.
Brynne – “composure”
20-year-old L.A. native, Brynne is holding onto his “composure” with his new release this week. Before his debut album, all the words i could’ve said, comes out at the end of March, Brynne wanted to set the tone for listeners and invite them in with one last pre-release single. “Composure” expresses everything the artist is holding back on, or at least trying to, as he confesses his feelings for the one his heart wants.
The song’s natural groove and rhythm is one thing, but matched with an ‘after the party is over’ aesthetic, it’s youth perfection. Completed with purple lights, fallen confetti, and a band surrounding Brynne, the music video is fully the product of him and his friends, a joint collaboration to make professional and showstopping art without a label. As Brynne takes center stage, he invites the camera in. He sings in the chorus, “I’m biting my tongue for you / Holding on for longer / Cause I don’t want to bother / I’ll do anything for you, for you.” Though Brynne showcases his desire to restrain his expression here, it is the last time he is going to do so before his debut album. But first, let’s welcome to our playlists, “composure.”
Dabin – “Not Enough (ft. Stephanie Poetri)”
Dabin and Stephanie Poetri are here to wreck your emotions in the best way possible with their collab, “Not Enough.” It’s a future bass EDM song that feels like a late-night cry session wrapped in shimmering synths. Known for his heart-tugging melodies, Dabin sets the stage for Poetri’s dreamy vocals. The lyrics reflect on a past, tumultuous relationship, the type that makes you feel…not enough. Poetri sings, “Yeah, I don’t wanna feel like I did before/ Not enough for you.” Though the worst is over, the heartbreak still lingers and you’re constantly brought back to that time again, hoping never to feel the same low again. “Not Enough” is a song of bittersweet nostalgia that will still have you nodding along even with the sorrowful lyrics.
Dabin is a powerhouse in the melodic bass scene with hit singles such as “Worlds Away” and “Part-Time Lover.” Last year, he performed at the Cosmic Meadow stage at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas and is set to perform at EDC China this month. Meanwhile, Stephanie Poetri will take the stage at this year’s Head in The Cloud festival, as she joins 88rising in celebrating their 10th anniversary.

BGYO – “Divine”
Filipino boy band BGYO is bringing all the charm with “Divine”, fresh off their new EP, BGYO. It’s a smooth, feel-good track wrapped in a funky beat. With lyrics about finding their special one, “Divine” radiates pure devotion and lovestruck vibes. The way the boys harmonize together in the pre-chorus, “I see heaven in your eyes/I’m thanking God because you’re mine,” perfectly captures the feeling of butterflies in your stomach. Their voices layer seamlessly before the chorus sweeps in like a lovestruck daydream, declaring their special girl as “so divine.” It’s a fluttery rush of emotions, the kind that creeps a smile onto your face whenever you think about your crush or someone special. “Divine” is a rom-com listening experience with BGYO perfectly capturing the magic of falling head over heels.
LE SSERAFIM – “Hot”
The ladies of LE SSERAFIM are turning up the heat with their newest mini-album HOT, the final piece of their musical trilogy that began with EASY and CRAZY. Though summer is still a couple of sleeps away, the title track “HOT” is already serving golden-hour nostalgia. “HOT” is a dreamy, retro-pop song that burns with passion and defiance. The lyrics paint a picture of fearless love and reinvention. “Just like a phoenix soaring across eternal skies,” sings CHAEWON, embracing rebirth. And just like the girls do in the music video, “HOT” embodies the blissful feeling of a trip to the beach at sunset.
Since their debut in 2022, LE SSERAFIM has garnered attention with their bold sound and powerful performance. Now, they’re gearing up to bring that fiery energy to the world stage on their first-ever world tour, EASY CRAZY HOT, with more details to be released on their Weverse page.

Anitta – “Larissa”
Anitta shows a new side to herself in her latest single “Larissa”, titled after her real name Larissa de Macedo Machado. The song is straight from the soundtrack of the Brazilian singer’s recently released Netflix documentary, Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta, giving fans a glimpse into her world beyond the fame and stage persona.
Showing a new side to Anitta’s artistry, “Larissa” is both playful and deeply personal. Breezy guitar sounds and an upbeat rhythm set the stage. The lyrics depict an irresistible connection and thrill with the desire to stay lost in the moment just a little longer. But “Larissa” is more than just a story of fleeting romance. By choosing to title the song with her real first name, Anitta peels back the layers of her global superstar persona, embracing a more vulnerable side of herself.
Cait Lin 凱琳 – 跟隨你的愛 (In Love’s Freedom)
Just in time for Taiwan’s White Day celebration, Cait Lin blends pop, jazz, and the fuzzy feels with her latest release, “跟隨你的愛 (In Love’s Freedom).” Teaming up with renowned producer Yen-j (嚴爵), she takes us back to the ‘70s with a fresh, modern twist. The result? A track that feels both timeless and uplifting, capturing the pure essence of love. In this track, Cait Lin redefines romance as an empowering and liberating experience. Her vocals glide over the warm melodies, reflecting this new found perspective of love on her terms. She sings, “Love’s response, love’s perfection / Only because it’s you / Just let go, freely follow your love.”
She shows that love isn’t meant to be something painful. Love is all about growth, healing, and self-discovery. “In Love’s Freedom” is perfect for anyone who’s looking to see the brighter side of romance.
Maddie Regent – “The other shoe”
Looking for a new indie-pop artist to add to your playlist? Maddie Regent is the girl for you! Following her earlier releases, “Turtleneck” and “the wolf”, she’s back with a new single off her upcoming debut album, On the phone with my mom. The song starts with a simple guitar riff that explodes into a heart-racing sense of impending doom. Regent lays down her emotions with each lyric, capturing the unbearable tension of knowing a relationship is on the edge of collapse. It’s the gut-wrenching moment when you can just feel the end creeping in, but instead of walking, you just sit there, waiting for the other shoe to drop.
If this track is any indication, her debut album is bound to be a roller coaster of feelings and emotions. Stay tuned for the full album drop on May 16th!
Other tracks in this week’s Sunday Spin playlist include “Bouquet for Me” by Ado, “OFF-ROAD” by BAEKHO, and “for you” by moon tang. Listen to everything mentioned and more, curated by Team EnVi only for you on Spotify.
