Win Metawin Took a Precious Jewel to the Tiffany & Co. Flagship Store Opening
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend but in this day and era, they could as well be a boy’s new favorite companion. Thai Fashion Darling, Win Metawin, is leading the trend by example. In his latest public appearance, the actor sported one of Tiffany & Co.’s most iconic designs. And yes, you guessed that right, it featured dazzling diamonds.
Luxurious style
As one of Tiffany & Co.’s most notable brand ambassadors, Thai actor Win Metawin is no stranger to flaunting the most exquisite jewelry pieces. From elegant bangle bracelets to sophisticated necklaces, the actor knows exactly how to sport a Tiffany & Co. creation.
Attending his most recent brand commitment — the opening of Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store at Siam Paragon in Thailand — the actor embodied modern-day elegance dressed in a velvet peak lapel suit. The heart of his look, however, was one of Tiffany & Co.’s most iconic designs: the Jean Schlumberger Bird on a Rock Brooch.
The piece, a classic in Tiffany & Co.’s 21st-century history, features a diamond pavé bird perched atop a precious aquamarine gemstone — although Schlumberger’s original design featured a yellow diamond. Win also sported bracelets and rings from the Tiffany T and Tiffany Lock collections to complement the luxurious get-up.
Bird on a Rock
First introduced in 1965, the Bird on a Rock Brooch was designed by French jeweler Jean Schlumberger. The designer drew inspiration from the one-of-a-kind creatures he observed during his travels through the Caribbean, Indonesia and the rest of Southeast Asia.
Over the years, the quirky but iconic diamond-encrusted bird has become one of Tiffany & Co.’s staples and a favorite on the red carpets. We’ve seen Michael B. Jordan, Jeremy Allen White and Win Metawin himself flaunt the piece at award ceremonies, exhibitions and now even store opening events.
Win, in particular, has seemingly made the Bird on a Rock Brooch a fixture in his wardrobe. The actor previously wore the pink sapphire version to the Tiffany Wonder exhibition in Japan last April. He also sported a citrine rock version of the brooch at the Tiffany & Co. store opening in Kuala Lumpur, back in March.
Unstoppable Power
Win’s most recent appearance follows a packed schedule promoting his latest work, Under Parallel Skies, in the Philippines and a slew of other events. Just the day prior, Win performed as a guest artist at the Miss Universe Philippines ceremony. For the occasion, the multihyphenate star put a twist on the TikTok viral “mob-wife” aesthetic, dressed in a three-piece suit and a black fur coat — should we call Win’s take on the trend, “mob husband”?
Fans surely can anticipate more fashion serves from the Thai sensation as Win is expected to hold several fan meetings and attend promotional events in the coming days.
