In recent years, we’ve seen Coachella steady shift toward a more global, genre-spanning roster, and 2025 is no exception. From major debuts to long-awaited returns, this year’s festival features a strong lineup of Asian artists across hip-hop, indie, R&B, house, and everything in between.
Whether they’re redefining pop, reshaping underground club sounds, or leading the next wave of alternative music, each artist brings something distinct to the desert. Below, EnVi breaks down every Asian act on the 2025 Coachella lineup, in alphabetical order, along with what to expect from their set, and why they deserve a spot on your schedule.
BEABADOOBEE

Born in Iloilo City, Philippines, and raised in London Beabadoobee has quickly become a defining voice in the indie music scene. Her early exposure to traditional Pinoy music, courtesy of her father, and the alternative rock influences from her mother have shaped her distinctive sound: a nostalgic blend of ’90s alternative rock and bedroom pop.
Beabadoobee first captured attention in 2017 with her viral track “Coffee,” leading to a series of EPs that showcased her evolving artistry. Her 2020 debut album, Fake It Flowers, received critical acclaim, and she continued to build on this success with Beatopia (2022). Her third studio album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, released last August, marked a significant milestone, debuting at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
Fans can anticipate a setlist that traverses her musical journey, from early favorites like “Coffee” to standout tracks from her latest album, such as “Take a Bite” and “Beaches.” Her live performances are renowned for their intimate atmosphere, blending dreamy melodies with grunge-inspired guitar riffs. Having previously graced the Coachella stage in 2022, Beabadoobee returns to the valley poised to deliver a set of the wistful, windows-down anthems that have made her a Gen Z favorite.

CHARLI xcx

If you don’t know who singer-songwriter Charli XCX is by now, it’s safe to say you’ve been living under a rock. The half-Indian pop disruptor painted not just the town, but the globe in signature BRAT green when she dropped her career-defining album last summer. Since then, she’s racked up GRAMMY wins, shut down stages worldwide on her sold-out tour, solidified her reign as the internet’s rave queen, and most importantly: had one of EnVi’s favorite albums of 2024.
After making her Coachella debut in 2023, she’s back and leveling up to the Main Stage, ready to turn the desert into a full-on sweaty, euphoric, bratty rave. Fans can expect to hear tracks from BRAT and it’s remix album (and maybe a few iconic deep cuts) in a set that promises to be sweaty, special guest-filled, and 100% unserious in the best way.

ENHYPEN

K-pop boy group ENHYPEN will make their highly anticipated Coachella debut this year, marking a milestone moment for both the group and their global fanbase known as Engene. Formed in 2020 through the survival show I-LAND, the seven-member group — Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-Ki — has built a reputation for elaborate worldbuilding, intense choreography, and music that fuses pop, rock, and EDM with darker, conceptual themes.
In just a few short years ENHYPEN have become well-seasoned performers, touring consistently since 2022. As well as performing across the globe for festivals like KCON and Summer Sonic. Their discography often leans into supernatural imagery, especially in releases like Dark Blood and Manifesto: Day 1, with lyrics and visuals that reference vampires, shadow selves, and identity (oh my!). Their most recent EP, Romance: Untold, continues the narrative-driven approach while incorporating some sleeker, club-ready production.
Known for delivering high-energy live shows, ENHYPEN is poised to bring all the spectacle and polish of their concerts to Coachella’s Sahara Stage. Ahead of the desert festival, the group releases “Loose,” a suave all-English number with choreography that looks silky smooth. In additional to the new track, fans can expect a setlist that spans fan favorites like “Polaroid Love” and “Drunk-Dazed” to newer singles such as “Sweet Venom” and “XO (Only If You Say Yes).” Whether you’re a long-time Engene or seeing them live for the first time, ENHYPEN’s desert debut is set to be one of the weekend’s most theatrical performances.

EYEDRESS

If there’s one artist who embodies chaos in the most endearing way possible, it’s Eyedress. The Manila-born, LA-based artist, real name Idris Vicuña, returns to Coachella with his genre blend of lo-fi, punk, shoegaze, and hip-hop. He’s the kind of artist who might perform in an oversized tee and sunglasses, casually drop a certified bop, and then crowd surf mid-set. Unfiltered and unpredictable, Eyedress has amassed a significant fanbase thanks to viral tracks like “Jealous,” “Romantic Lover,” and “Something About You,” songs that sound like they were recorded in a bedroom, in the middle of an emotional breakdown but in the best way.
Fans can expect to hear everything from his newer releases like “Flowers & Chocolate” and “Teenage Heaven” to older lo-fi staples like “Jealous” and “Skateboarding Day.”

GINGER ROOT

Blurring the lines between concert and cinematic fever dream, Ginger Root is set to bring his VHS-fueled sound to Coachella for the first time. The project of Cameron Lew, Ginger Root has built a cult following online through meticulously crafted visuals, vintage aesthetics, and a genre-defying sound he’s dubbed “aggressive elevator soul.” Mixing Japanese City Pop, funk, and indie pop, Lew is a one-man creative machine: writing, recording, filming, and editing every part of the Ginger Root identity.
He first gained major attention with tracks like “Loretta” and “Weather,” but 2024’s SHINBANGUMI marked his most acclaimed project to date and one of EnVi’s favorites. Designed as a fictional soundtrack to a late-night Japanese drama, the album leans heavily into retro synths, funky grooves, and perfectly awkward earnestness, all tied together with his signature audiovisual storytelling.
At Coachella, fans can expect a strategically organized set featuring new songs like “Over the Hill” and “No Problems,” paired with older favorites like “Leisure” and “City Slicker.” If you’re curious about the guy with the camcorder aesthetic and crisp white dress shirts, Ginger Root’s performance can ensure one of the most charming and offbeat moments of the weekend.

KUMO 99

LA-based duo Kumo 99 will make their Coachella debut at the Sonora Stage, introducing festivalgoers to a world of sound that sits somewhere between hyperpop, experimental electronic, and noise rock. Comprised of Jacky and Cooper, Kumo 99 has been steadily building a presence in underground circles since their debut, known for crafting immersive sounds that are atmospheric, chaotic, and deeply textural.
Their 2022 album Body N. Will introduced a raw, emotionally charged approach to production that favors distortion, fragmented rhythms, and vocals that feel submerged beneath layers of industrial haziness. Though their sound is hard to categorize (which is the point), it’s exactly that unpredictability that makes their music so interesting.
With minimal visuals and maximum mood, Kumo 99’s live sets are an all-senses activated experience. Expect heavy bass and an unpredictable setlist that mirrors the duos glitchy, genreless vibe. For those seeking something a little darker, and a little louder, this is the one to catch.
