Felix Reinvents the Pinstripe Suit at the Tommy Hilfiger SS25 Show
It’s been a fashion-filled year for superstar Felix Lee, member of K-pop group Stray Kids. The Australian singer, rapper and all-around style icon has done it all, from reinventing trends to walking the runway. In his latest style exploit, the singer proved the unfading allure of the pinstripe suit — albeit, with a youthful touch.
A Nautical-Inspired Look
On September 8, Felix attended the unveiling of Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring Summer 2025 show. The event, which took place aboard the MV John F. Kennedy (former Staten Island Ferry), was a lavish and over-the-top celebration of Tommy Hilfiger’s nautical DNA. Naturally, the show reunited anyone who’s anyone in fashion, including global stars and house friends. As one of the brand’s campaign stars — Stray Kids have served as Tommy Hilfiger models and ambassadors since 2023 — Felix took in the runway from the front row.
The star, who is also an ambassador of the French powerhouse Louis Vuitton, mastered the art of tailored dressing in a pinstripe suit. The look, however, departed from the pinstripe looks that flooded social media this summer and featured a slightly oversized double-breasted jacket and wide-leg pants.
The pinstripe — believed to have roots in the uniforms sported by British boaters and often associated with nautical sports — is a well-known summer staple, but Felix offered an autumnal twist on this sartorial classic. As we’re transitioning between seasons, the Australian star paired his suit with a knit vest, white shirt and the accessory of 2024 — the necktie.
Busy and Booked
Nothing Felix does is ever conventional, so the K-pop idol topped off the navy ensemble with silver jewelry and a pair of white sneakers — which, despite being a divisive formula in menswear, he pulled off effortlessly. Beauty-wise, Felix sported his hair in a casual half-up, half-down hairstyle accentuated with ultra-fine braids — very Y2K, if you ask our opinion.
Felix’s most recent Fashion Week appearance follows a streak of successful and noteworthy fashion activities. Earlier this year, Felix made his runway debut on the catwalk of the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2024 show, emerging as one of the buzziest celebrities at Paris Fashion Week. The star also attended the Met Gala alongside his bandmates and most recently, the group fronted Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2024 campaign. Talk about being busy and booked!
