Stray KidsMet Gala debut was full of piecey wet fringes, dewy skin and just-bitten lip tint. The K-pop boy band donned the finest Tommy Hillfiger outfits, but the beauty was simply “S-Class” — pun intended. The octet crafted the perfect rainy guy chic aesthetic with windswept hair, misty skin, and suave makeup.

Ahead, EnVi dives into the highlights of Stray Kids’ beauty looks at the 2024 Met Gala.

The Makeup

Stray Kids’ makeup walked the fine line between romantic and masculine. Soft brown and maroon shadows hallowed each of the member’s eyes. The romantic tones were kept tight on the lower to mid creases without interfering with the cool guy aesthetic. Meanwhile, the brows were all defined for extra sharpness.

Aligning with men’s beauty trends, the high points of the members’ faces were dew-kissed. The skin was glossed with glassy skin products – sans pearls or shimmer finishing. To complete the glam, the lips were tinted and glossed to add depth.

The Hair

Taking heavy influence from the wet hair agenda prospering last year, Stray Kids sported wet, piecey bangs. However, each member’s hairstyle took on different styling. Some members sported curtain bangs split down the middle while others revived the two-block haircut, albeit in modern iterations. The various hairstyles highlighted the inner leading man style that characterizes and differentiates each of the members.

Korean Australian rapper, Felix Lee, for example, wore his platinum blonde into a half-up-do with twisted segments of hair for an ethereal but effortless look. Meanwhile, Bang Chan opted for a fringe haircut styled with a wet-hair effect.

S-Class Style

Tapping into popular menswear trends and demonstrating to be updated about the latest style fads, Stray Kids showcased the best of their S-Class beauty. The group made history as the first K-pop group to attend the Met Gala, riding momentum from their successful year — in 2023 and 2024 thus far, the octet performed at the MTV Video Music Award, made their Lollapalooza Music Festival debut in Paris and stood out with remarkable fashion accolades.

Needless to say, Stray Kids’ glam is going straight to our beauty mood board.
